I am in an interracial relationship. My fiance is British and I am from the Philippines. I don't see anything wrong with it really. I think it's not about the color of your skin or your cultural background, it's all about how you guys handle the relationship. I have a cousin who is in a relationship with a local guy from our country but their relationship is shaky. Yes she says they've been together for 7 years compared to me and my fiance who's only been 9 months together but we try to understand each other more and try to talk about things that we feel we need to sort out. My cousin and her boyfriend, they've split and made up for like since they were together. They fight over little things and her boyfriend is cheating on her from behind her back and she just takes him back again.
To be quite truthful I didn't even think I'd end up with a foreign guy. I've always thought that they may be difficult to deal with LOL but fortunately my fiance isn't. He's really understanding and patient and he loves me just the way I am.

I personally support interracial relationships. Of course I might be bias since I'm also in an interracial relationship. lol. Love is blind. The color of people's skins do not and should not deter people for loving each other. Unfortunately there are still people in this world who do not see it this way and believe everyone should stay with "their own kind."
