last thoughts before you die

I've once asked this question to my roommate, "What would be our last thoughts when we are at the point of death or about to breath our last?" She gave me a simple answer that made me realize that yes, I should seize every moment of my life, appreciate and enjoy all things, simple they may be, so that whenever that time comes, I'll be able to say "Thank You." How about you fellow lotters, what would be your thoughts? :)

Hi janiceclaire,
I think, I just cross the bridge when I get there....

Yeah, and while we're not yet on that bridge, we'll just have to seize every moment of our life.

yeah, some may feel panic or regrets especially when they are still young and haven't done much in their live..

You can't think of those right now. Those will just come to you when the time is right. And i suggest you don't think about it too cuz there's a big chance you may attract it to your life.

Thanks for the suggestion, I sure don't want to attract this in my life ;) This crazy thought just crossed my mind when we were watching a movie and I couldn't help but think of it.

I think it's too early for me to have thought like that, I'd like to live some more years, but since that's the topic I think that last thought of your life would be memories of all things you have done on this planet, the good ones and the bad ones. It would be too late to regret about something, just to have a final look at your life.

crazy thought eh? i don't know what came into me to start a discussion with this topic.. but i think this kind of thought would encourage us to do good instead of regretting and wishing we could turn back time.. thanks for sharing and happy lotting :)

i hope they would be of love, the people who phoned each other in the horror of the 9/11 sent messages of love as this is the most powerful emotion known to man.

No person could ever tell at what precise moment the angels would take away our souls, ergo, live each day as if it were the last and be thankful for another day as we wake up. Thinking about something before taking our last breath is what we do everyday. Ü

Right. We'll never know if today would be our last day. So, whatever it is that we think we ought to think before we die, we think it today. So, if I think that I would be thankful to God for having let me experience this life, I would think that thought today.

My last thought will be my partner. I love him very much and will not take my last breath before seeing his handsome face. Will pray to god that i want him as my partner in my next life as well.
