Any unused bottles around the house and you don't want to just throw them away? Here's a useful tip.
1. Cut off the top right at the neck
2. Slide a plastic bag through the neck
3. Screw back the cap and you have a airtight container
Refer to the picture for a visual.
I hope this is useful to you.

hello dear friend! i guess we should be more artistic and creative when it comes to recycling things, for us to avoid lots of garbage stuffs.i guess i have heard of that thing you stated before.i just can't remember the details on it.
but to tell you,i have done some thing about empty bottle of mayonnaise back then,i sticked a photo inside there, and filled half of it with some sugar and colored chalk combination then gave it to my friend!the photo inside is one of our photos back then with some close friends.really nice as a remembrance.
you see,if you can give effort to some things and give it to friends,it's much more enjoyable to cherish and treasure the most, not to mind how cheap it was,as long as it came from the bottom of your heart and your effort is there, really sweet, right?

haha, not exactly! i'm not really that talented or creative when it comes to giving gifts.i guess it's just i had adopted some art stuffs from other friends as well.
it's all about imaginations also.if you really know what your friends makes happy, then you should give him/her something unique but with touch of something they really liked.it's much well appreciated if you know you have given such effort on things you give to friends.it's a sweet thing.
you know,my sister had done some paper mache which has different shapes.like a cap,butterfly,or chairs,with drawings o it.really cute.she even made a dog,haha.
next project she wants to make is a body form, like a true human made of papers only.i wonder how it feels like to have your own self being in paper mache form.it looks exciting!

hi bluemoonpavilions I will remember this tip. Also do not throw
plastic sacks away as you can use them to store a myriad of things
away.I have also saved empty spray bottles that had soft soap in them and used to spray other things with water.

Hi Hatley,
I have seen people using shampoo bottles (with nozzle) for a dishwashing detergent dispenser which is really useful and convenient to use. Thanks for sharing your own tips here.

Hmmm...cool. That could work! And it's helpful to the environment, too. Too much plastic will kill this planet, I think. Kudos to you!

If each one of us could cut back in the use of plastics, think how tremendous the effect would be! So, let's do our own share in the protection of the planet, and when we'd look at the bigger picture, each one's effort is just as important as everyone else's.

Thanks for saying that. I believe each of can make a difference, even if it's just a small and insignificant part.

I hope I can reduce my own usage of plastic, I feel quite guilty actually.

I'm glad you find it useful. Plastic bottles are so common in our lives but they are so detrimental to the environment. It is good to find some usage for them.
Have a nice day!

Wow that is a pretty neat trick. I wasn't sure what you meant by your directions, but when I saw the picture I thought wow, and I never would have thought of that! It's a pretty good little trick to save having to buy the more expensive zipped sandwich bags.

WOW!!! That is a very useful information. You really are not just a pretty face!!!
I love the idea. But I have one problem. In my house, my daughters always lose the cap. We have hundreds of bottles without caps or there are some caps with no bottles and no matching bottle either.

Hi zralte, let me clarify two things:
Firstly, I am not the owner of this wonderful idea.
Secondly, I am not a pretty face at all.
For your lost caps....you may want to start organizing them and tidy them up. Just my personal feeling...
