Friends after several years I could see my favorite bird Peacock, that too on the street in front of my home. It is raining here, today is our independence day of India. Somebody told me about this peacock dancing on the street. Well peacocks usually dance during rains. This one is a pet peacock of somebody; she has come out for this wonderful show!!!
Have you seen peacock dancing in rainy season, do you have peacocks as pet bird? Please share.

Hello Sir,
Yes I have the luck to watch this beautiful dance. Often I am watching a peacock near to my office place. He is walking through the road (by-lane) without any fear and people are watching him and taking photos in mobile. I surprised to see him on the first time and felt how he is walking here and there without any fear. I don’t know if anybody keeping the same as pet. Anyway he is happy and enjoying the life.

The only place that I've ever seen a peacock in real life is at the zoo that is close to our house. I don't think that there is anyone around here that keeps peacocks as pets. In fact, there are some places in the United States where they are wild and they are viewed as nusances because of the mess that they are able to make with their droppings. I really think this is sad because I think that they are beautiful and majestic animals.

Hello Professor. I have seen peacocks in our local zoo only, but I have never seen one has a peacock as a pet. Peacocks are very beautiful birds whose feathers are nice and beautiful when they open their wings. Peacocks are a national bird of India like pandas are our national animal. Thank you for sharing the discussion with us, Professor. Have a good day.

hello Prof,
Peacock is not a usual pet or domesticated pet here in our country,it is too expensive to have it as pet,coz it is not a common bird here in our place.
I have seen peacock only at zoos here and not in anybody's backyard.
How i wish to see it like an ordinary chicken roaming around our backyard too.
Have a wonderful weekdays dear brother

I do not know anyone who keeps peacocks as pets here. Our space constraint may not allow that to be kept in high rise apartment.
The only place I've seen peacocks and peahens and lots of them are in our local zoo. The best part is they are free-ranging. I've seen dancing before. Thought that was part of their mating rituals. But what a wonderful sight.
