How does it feel getting them ready to face a new world. I can remeber when my son went to school. I was so nervous sending him to this big new place. Wondering if he would be looking for me. Wanting me to just put my arms around him. I think you will be fine don't sweat it. You can go do your house work and have some you time.....Have a blessed day!

It isn't easy at all to let your child go for the first time, but it is a necessary step that all children need to take in their lives. I remember when my daughter started school two years ago, I really thought that she would have a difficult time making it through the day in the care of complete strangers, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. She loved school and it was really good for her socially.

My daughter is going to be 3 now, and we sent her to play school when she was 2.5. She did not like it and still does not. We are now looking for a new school. I sent her just because the school is right behind my house and I can see her all the time. But it is not easy dropping her off every morning when she really does not want to go.
It is more difficult for her as she does not speak the local language. That basically means she cannot make friends. My heart breaks every morning that she cried when I drop her off. I am as much to blame as she does not go regularly because of our trips to her grandparents. I took her off school for a month to visit my mother and then another month to visit my husband's family. She was quite alright after attending regularly for a month. Now we are back to square one. My husband now thinks it is better to try another school.

This will be my 3rd time seeing my child off to Kindergarden. It was hard the first two times. I've got this child and then in 4 years I'll be seeing my last one off to her very first day. My kids have no problem saying 'see ya later, bye!' Me on the other hand I cried all the way home. Once they got home I was so happy and relived that they enjoyed their first day.

Well I don't have children..I'm a bit to young for that. But I do remember how it was for my parents. They didn't have trouble sending me to school and I actually found my very first day of school really fun.
