What is Love?

The word "Love" denotes to several meanings and feelings. There are satanic love, platonic love, blind love and so on. I think there is no people who do not love in any way, in any manner. But just to joke with you my friend, if I say that LOVE stands for Loss Of Valuable Energy, what will be the the feelings in your mind?

For me, love is simply finding comfort with each other no matter how ugly things turn out.

Love has a deep meaning that both partners will enjoy the moment they shared together. It is depend on the you on how you can identify the feelings you have. For me i feel the love really came from within my heart and strange emotions follows and I can't express myself. I always feel excited and my surroundings are colorful. It is the expression. Hello jackymcraph! My definition of love is written in Book of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8... "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoice with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevere. Love never fails." :)

Love to me is an institution of the Blind,Deaf and Mute...Blind when in times mistakes are done by either partners it seems nothing happen,Deaf when things are utter in bad manner, it seems like it was not heard,Mute when things are not discuss in times of Anger...that constitute LOVE.THANKS!

People give many definitions to LOVE. medicine, attraction, intimacy, passion .... LOVE - Liking. Both can be treated as synonyms. Love is in many forms. parental love - Seen anywhere or everywhere. Love between parents and children and vice versa. this holds good for all living creatures. Teenage love - This love particularly is between opposite sexes in the teenage. Most often this is due to attraction. Godly love - Love towards the god. you love a particular god. LOVE means liking and caring.

Love is so many things, but mostly, it is the feelings that you have for a person, that unconditional love, you want to protect that person, you care about them, they are your world, they are everything to you, and you would hate it if anything happened to them. Love is so many things.

For me love is the most important feeling to feel. It is so nie to be inlove and be love lol.. Nothigncould really expailn it well but all i know is that is is so nice to feel love.

There's no concrete and definite meaning of love. But for me, love is accepting someone beyond anything, sharing once innermost happiness with the other without expecting anything at all is love for me.

It is very difficult to say, you should find your love and you will know what love is. But love is not just from your lovers , you can love your parents, sisters, brothers, children, even your dog, and so on. So you needn't try to find what love is, you just need to feel the feeling of happy from others and make others happy.Then you will find your world is full of love.

As per my views, love is a sweetest feeling and a cutest relation which needs lot of trust and attention. If we love someone, we have to be more caring and dedicated to that person and the feeling of caring and dedicating comes itself, if it's really true love. We forget everything when we r in love, we remember only 1 person all the time.

This is interesting! Browsing everyone's response is interesting! In my opinion, I think love is just you. I don't think it has anything to do with another being except for yourself. But honestly, I am in search for this answer too. I thought I found love, but when the relationship ended, I wasn't sure anymore... and I eventually felt hate. But I was able to still love, without another person... that is when I felt that love is more complicated then what I ever idealized it to be. I think love can't have a literal explanation (obviously!) but it can definitely be felt by most people. I think it is always there in every human even if we are angry and sad. Love is just complicated... that is all I know about it!

When I was younger, I was full of idealism about love. I thought that love is a perfect gift from God. I never thought that love could be painful as well as could be very beautiful... I had experienced to be loved and gave love. But, if you will ask me what is love, I'd say there's no exact word to define love. I think, no matter how experienced we are, we can never fathom the real meaning of love. Love can be viewed as a sacrifice like Jesus did for mankind. It could be viewed as an inspiration, strength, pain, sufferings, and a lot more. Despite of the many complexities of love, I still believe in it and I'd never turn my back on love. :)

When a person truly loves someone, they will consider this person to be a vital part of their life. Love will cause a person to offer kindness, caring, respect and support to the other person, without a second thought. True love means putting the needs of the other person before your own; while still remaining responsible and keeping self-respect intact. Young people may find love difficult; as it also brings responsibility. When in love, your actions affect your partner’s. A person should sort out their feelings to know if they are in like, in lust or in love. If in love, the person should honor that by behaving appropriately.

Well i love you can be from the bottom of a persons heart.To express your love to somebody is to give him what she love most without expecting anything in return.
