College life is so far away from High School life. There are a lot of tasks, works, researches that will sometimes make you stop and think. "Do I belong here?" The answer is simple: Your university is not your "hell" its actually "you". Although at times you may fail, well what can you do? That's life but universities are not there to torture, but to nurture students. They're not there to scare but to care for the students. It only depends on how you look at it.

I earned my degree from a military school up north. I had a different college experience than most of the members here. My teenage years were spent in a highly regimented environment. You always had to keep in step with your classmates otherwise you will be left behind. We had seatworks and boardworks everyday in every subject. Many of our professors are highly qualified educators with military ranks. One mistake could cost your dismissal. Aside from academics, we also had to deal with sports, parades, inspections, and other miltiary duties. Hell? Of course not. While you're at it, relax and enjoy the view! :-))

I did love college, but I was burned out towards the end. I was ready to graduate. I did learn a lot about the subjects I studied, but I think I learned more about myself. I lived on campus and had to learn to take care of myself. I had to get myself up in the morning, wash my own clothes, feed myself. No one was there to do it for me. I had some bad relationships and learned a lot from them about what I wanted from someone else. A few years ago I went back to college and had a different outlook on it. I was older and more eager to learn. Unfortunately, some things happened in my life and they were more important than school, so I quit for the time being. I have not gone back, but hope to soon.

College is one of the phases of my life I like recalling fondly. It is much different from the carefree world of high school. The requirements must be done in a short time. The semester spans 5 months less. There were books to read and texts to analyze. The exams were long and the questions tricky. There were teachers who want to terrorize instead of teach. On the whole, the education was worth it all.
