How water usually helps us in everyday lives...
Correct Timing in drinking H2O:
-2 glasses 30mins before meals help digestion
-1 glass after waking up helps activate internal organs
-1 glass before going 2 sleep avoids midnight strokes/heart attacks
-1 glass after taking a bath helps lower blood pressure
Make it a habit. And here I am, sharing the following to my fellow mylotters to stay healthy..:p
Happy gloomy Thursday (it's about to rain here in my place ;P)

I always drink lots of water. More than 8 glasses a day. It helps prevent pimples too. Plus:
FAT BURNING TRIVIA: Just drinking water will not help you burn fat. On the other hand, if you drink cold water, your metabolism will be raised, which will aide in fat burning. You see, the body can't use the water because it's cold. It has to heat the water to use it. This burns more calories...So starting now on, do not deprive yourself from drinking refrigerated water!
I got this from a Facebook post of a model friend. So now, I drink more. lol

hi totally undecided from hot hot hot thursday morn. Southern Ca
I really do pu sh myself to drink plenty of water because as a diabetic with diverticulitis it really helps to control blood sugar and also keeps me healthy and not constipated. I always have a glass of water at bedtime and several at meals and inbetween as I know I need to rehydrate myself before I get thirsty. Summer has finally come here a little late but its hot. lol.

Hi, Hatley. Here in Philippines, it's quite the opposite. It's been gloomy lately. It rains twice a day. I wonder why. Maybe they are sympathizing with me. LOL.
True, water really helps a lot. But I am happy you are able to share some information so that our fellow lotters here could also take notes. :D
Thank you hatley and always take care. :D

Wow that is informative. I am a water drinker and would not exchange water for a softdrink, tea or any colored beverages. I really do drink water as I wake up and also before before going to sleep but not after taking a bath. I think I will ask my husband to do that because he is fighting against high blood pressure. With me, I have no problem with hypertension. My BP is stable at 110/70.

I am not a water drinker myself but when my mom sent me that advise, I am trying to practice now - drinking water as much as I can.
Thanks for the mesage, salonga. Maybe one of these days I'll check it myself when I am not that busy anymore. Cheers! And thanks for the help.

Hello TotallyYundecided :)
Thanks for that information, i didn't know that water is doing so many miracles, but i'll make it my habit :) I don't drink water so much, because the water doesn't have any taste, i prefer juices or something like colored water with fruit taste :)

that is a very useful information. thanks for that... but that's only 5 glasses, make it 2 glasses in every chance of drinking it.. that makes it 8 glasses, and maybe another 2 glasses after meal.. we now have 12 glasses (250ml/glass).

Drinking water is very important. It helps to flush the toxins out of your body. It also aids in digestion. If you do not drink enough water, your body will retain water and you will become bloated and gain weight. It is very important when the weather is hotter so you do not get dehydrated.

Thanks for the heads-up, but it would help if you could cite the research/articles that proves the veracity of these claims. I've become wary of information from the Internet, and if I'm able, I always try to verify my sources.

Drinking water keeps your body clean. Water help to fertile toxin such as uric acid and lactic acid the kidneys out of our bloodstream. These are the toxins that make us feel sluggish and sick. Drinking water regularly keeps us pollution free and it keeps our body healthy and disease free.

This is one of those bullcrap! I've watched a docu on this. You just need liquids and not just water. So you can never be dehydrated by drinking water, soda, coffee, anything liquid.
