My understanding of selfless people is the exact opposite of selfish people.. Selfless people deeply cares about others and do things accordingly to their conscience's will. They dedicate their life for the service of others without the expecting anything in return. If these people are so motivated to help voluntarily to achieve personal contentment, can they be totally selfless? What is your definition of Selfless personality? in contrast to selfish personality? What are your thoughts?

There is no such thing as a selfless person actually. How could there be one? When you think about it, a person who loves doing good feels good and happy when they do good things without expecting anything in return..
They still in the end feel good about themselves which could be a personal high.. So why would you say they would be a selfless person?
That's my thoughts about it, I do apologize if I sound too harsh.

I was watching this video my mother in law had in her facebook account a few days ago. I was so sad looking at the video cause it was about 3 kids who was abandoned by their parents. Two kids cant walk cause they have polio and they have an older sister who was 8 years and she took care of them. She was so selfless cause she always thought of her brother and sister first. She didnt try to do something to herself yet and made sure that her brother and sister had something. Anyway, its going to take me 30 minutes to describe everything I saw there but what the girl did was a very simple act of service and it was so selfless.
