i'll just ignore him especially like what you said your about to settle down. he belongs to the past. whats important is the present. there's no point texting an old flame.

yep that is correct.., but it has been a year since we last communicated and he was the reason why we had a great misunderstanding with my boyfriend before.. my boyfriend is allergic of his name..and he will definitely react if he'll know that he texted me so idin't reply with his message.., i don't want to feel guilty over something..=)

hi, you did the right thing not texting back because then if the two men met you would have a secret and feel uneasy. be flattered that your ex is still thinking about you but if you love your boyfriend leave it at that.

That's exactly what happened to me a year ago and it's kinda related to the topic that I posted yesterday. Of course, I feel happy when someone remembers you. I there's nothing wrong when you reply to your ex; unless he might have needed something from you that current bf may not need to know. You may reply to his message once or twice but if he becomes very persistent, I guess you need to control that. We don't know where your conversations might lead to ;)

If you are really happy in your current relationship, I think you did the right thing of not texting back but if you can honestly say that even if you did text him back, no feelings for him will come back, I guess there is no reason to not reply to his message. Anyway, If the same situation happened to me, I would show the message to my boyfriend first and assure him that it means nothing. After that I will ask him how he would feel if I replied to it , if he feels uncomfortable, I will not reply but if he is okay with it I will reply just to be polite.

That happened to me too when I was already married. He was just texting me to ask something about a friend. I was also shocked when he contacted me cause it was something I didnt expect him to do after all that he did to me when we were in college. I also wasnt smiling when he texted, I just send him the reply about our friend and that was it.
