Pong's tongue...

Last year we had to pull Pong's teeth.
Ever since he's had trouble kind of keeping track of where his tongue is.
Normally it only kind of peeks out, but this day...
Well, see for yourself.
How silly is this?
Actually, Solo is even sillier with his tongue, but when we get his teeth pulled, maybe he'll have it back in his mouth.
So, you have a pet that does anything this silly?

It's cute when they do that, but their poor tongue gets dried out.

hi elicbxn he is so cute, tongue and all wow. I wish i had a pet
but it would cost me one hundred more dollars on my rent which
I do not have. I have seen other cats do that too when they
are asleep. maybe they are dreaming about something good to
eat. lol lol

Yeah, Creamy, Creamcycle takes a swing at my or my husband's feet if we walk away and he doesn't want us to walk away from him. Sometimes he gets despirate and wraps his paws around or angles and as my husband says, "he goes for a drag with us." It was funny in the winter time when we had boots, bare foot, it's not so funny now!

Silly Pong!
I have a stray that comes every day, Mr. Kitty. He's all white with yellow eyes and very affectionate but only to me. His tongue usually is sticking out the front of his mouth, it looks so cute! He hasn't shown up today and I'm worried. I think I might have jinxed him by taking his picture last night to send to my sister.

My cat Thebes (sadly, no longer with us) used to stick her tongue out..usually after washing herself and she'd "forgotten" that it was still stuck out. The older she got the more she forgot about her tongue sticking out, absolutely adorable.
My current cat, Flojo, has stuck her tongue out a couple of times but only for a second or two. I just love the pinkiness of the tongue against her black and white fur, it's so funny! Oh, and the mad eyes!
She also has this peculiar habit of crunching her claws. Usually, cats will pull the claws (one at a time) from their paws to clean them whilst moving their head from side to side...but Flojo shoves her whole paw into her mouth and makes this horrendous crunching sound whilst she chews all the claws at the same time! She does it with her back paws as well. I have never seen a cat do that before and - believe me, it's highly entertaining to watch!

I had a black cat that had to have some teeth pulled, but he still had most of them. He would sometimes leave his tongue out when he finished washing. The pink of his tongue stood out against all that black. It was really cute.

Tiger's tongue hangs out all the time. He gets a sore on the middle of it. He has had some teeth pulled, but the only time it ever stops is if he gets an antibiotic for some reason, then it heals up. I need to give him more homemade yogurt as that has natural antibiotics. The vet says it is good for him.

Poor Solo, he is so cute with his tongue but I know it makes it hard for the baby to do things.

My chihuahua Peanut is the same way. I had to have his teeth pulled too except for some of his back ones because they had all rotted away and caused him pain and he had horrible breath. Now his tongue sticks out all day long. It's like he has no barrier to keep his tongue inside his mouth. lol I wish I had a picture to show you but I don't but I will get one!

My cat Precious never had his teeth pulled. Although when he was about three he had an accident where he fell from the second floor of our two story home. He had an infection and had to take some medicine. His jaw sometimes gets sore especally in the wintertime.
However even with all his teeth, Precious's tongue will do something simular when he's in a deep enough sleep. He scared me this one time, cause he went to sleep on this dresser. And I thought he had passed away on us, because all I could see was his tongue sticking out. I shook him to wake up, and he eventually did so. His tongue going back in his mouth afterwards.

Too cute! My favorite picture of my Pepi shows him with his tongues hanging out. I even enlarged this photo and framed it.

Well, none of my cats are that funny looking...lol...but Misty won't purr unless she's under a blanket, then she'll purr and knead while I pet her. Outside the blanket she won't let us pet her and she won't purr let alone knead. She HAS to be under a blanket! Funny cat!
