Pong's tongue...

mom's cat, Suky used to do it, but she had her teeth, and Solo does it, but he still has his teeth, it was after Pong started doing it that I saw Taj do it, but he doesn't do it as much or as far.

It's cute when they do that, but their poor tongue gets dried out.

Not Solo's, he absolutely drips drool...

I used to say that Suky's tongue was too big for her mouth, but after she finished growing, she stopped it hanging out... Pong just kind of loses track of where it is...

I can hear that, my cats don't do that, there are just the few that jump up in our arms because they want to be held

My cat Thebes (sadly, no longer with us) used to stick her tongue out..usually after washing herself and she'd "forgotten" that it was still stuck out. The older she got the more she forgot about her tongue sticking out, absolutely adorable. My current cat, Flojo, has stuck her tongue out a couple of times but only for a second or two. I just love the pinkiness of the tongue against her black and white fur, it's so funny! Oh, and the mad eyes! She also has this peculiar habit of crunching her claws. Usually, cats will pull the claws (one at a time) from their paws to clean them whilst moving their head from side to side...but Flojo shoves her whole paw into her mouth and makes this horrendous crunching sound whilst she chews all the claws at the same time! She does it with her back paws as well. I have never seen a cat do that before and - believe me, it's highly entertaining to watch!

Maggiepie used to play hide-and-seek with Leontyne, inside the house even - not like Leontyne didn't know where she was, but she liked playing it anyway

Solo is a brown tabby, so his tongue shows better, but I've spotted Scamp with his tongue peeking and he's a black cat.

Lol he certainly is there is no doubt about it but he is worth it

is that boy getting impossibly spoiled or what? honestly, he's lucky he's got you to do these things for him, because he'd be fighting it out with the cats at my place!

aww, poor Tiger, guess you can't do a simple, but expensive fix like we can...

That's Pong with his tongue, but Solo hangs his out because his mouth hurts, he's the next to go under the knife and have them pulled.

Roxie was having that problem, but she solved it by not bother - I'm glad she's gone some place they can put her on a DIET!

at least most chihuahuas have pretty normal sized tongues as compared to those Chinese Crested dogs - are they really dogs, or some kind of mutant rat?

ouch, I've had a couple of cats fall from the eyebrow window and one chipped a tooth, but other than that, we haven't had a problem with falls, just this stomititus that a few have gotten
