I did a 4 movie marathon this week. Here's my take on the movies I saw:
Nanny McPhee - Great kids movie that adults can endure. I liked.
Eat, pray, love - Julie Roberts new movie was boring. I'm a chick, this was a chick flick, but had absolutely no excitement. Thumbs down.
Lottery Ticket - Used every negative black stereotype you can imagine, but still managed to produce a rather funny movie. I laughed in spite of myself.
Salt - Angelina Jolie at her best. This woman can give Bruce Willis a run for the money with regards to escaping from impossible situations and kicking booty. She is a one woman wrecking crew. Loved Salt.
The Other Guys - This was a spoof on cop movies and surprisingly quite good. Silly but good.

Okay, my mother saw "The Other Guys" and she said it wasn't her cup of tea. She didn't like the film because she doesn't like Will Ferrell. She doesn't think that he is a good actor.
I heard that "Eat, Pray, Love" was a boring chick flick and wasn't really worth seeing.
I spent my money all on "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World", I loved that movie.

A man who has to battle his girlfriend's seven evil ex's! It is an epic battle for love, with a lot of fun video game references and a lot of Canadian humor.
