I love to swim only inside a swimming pool. It is bit risky to swim in lakes, rivers and especially oceans. I know its bit rare but i am bit afraid of these water depths and tides too. In fact i prefer always someone swimming around me. I hope this is the best sport which gives exercise to all parts of your body. The best sport i can say. I have seen many of my friends swimming in lakes, rivers and in oceans too. At the same time i have seen some bad incidents too which pulls me off these risky stuff. I am the only one for my parents and i like to cherish each and every minute of it for them. Share your thoughts on the same.

I do love swimming. It's a good exercise that does not have any pressure on our joints unlike running. I like the feeling of being in the water, swimming in my own pace with no stress, so relaxing. It will be great if there's the company of little drizzle, as I have always like rain. Swimming in the ocean is no problem for me too because that's what I normally so with my friends when we visit beaches.
The sun, the sea and the beach, perfect place for all sorts of fun. However when we are swimming in the sea, we do know our limits and not venturing too far out, for safety reasons.

I really love swimming and my favorite place to swim is in a tropical ocean close to an island. Like swimming from the beaches in the Seychelles was a delightful experience. In Queensland, Australia I was swimming in a river and then the tide pulled me down the river. Oh, my. That was very scary. I managed to grab hold of a tree. I was so lucky not to get even further. When I was in Samoa I was snorkeling around a coral reef. Then I looked up and I was far from land. I found the tide was pushing me far out to sea. I tried to swim in but the tide was too strong. I swam in a semi circle and luckily managed to get back to the land. When I was in the Maldives the waves were too strong. I have learned what is safe and what is dangerous. At my local beaches there are sinking mud and a dangerous tide.

The movie "Jaws" scared me so much as a kid that it put me off swimming in the ocean! I used to love to swim as a kid, but I was in Florida and got stung by a jellyfish. That put me off too!

I love to swim, but I rarely get to do it. I work a lot, and I don't have a pool at home, so I don't get to swim very often. Although I am only a few miles from the beach, and from a couple of rivers, I don't ever have time to go out there. There are also a couple of swimming pools here at local colleges, but I usually don't have time to go there either. I am a really strong swimmer, and I would love to be able to go swimming more often. Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise available, and it is an important skill that everyone should learn.

Like you, I prefer swimming inside a swimmin pool, as it's very safe, and you can always see what's under you. For example, in the sea you never know when a jellyfish is going to appear and bite you, and lately there are more and more all over the world's beaches. The only bad point of the swimming pool is that you actually have to pay

I have never been afraid to swim. I know not to chance it when the weather is real bad. Thats just asking for trouble. I have always liked water and swimming. Its really a great excercise for the whole body. I can understand being afraid of it too. Just be careful not to swim in heavy waves.

I like to swim, especially in summer. And be prefer to swim in oceans rather than in swimming pool. Compared to the pool, I can get the more space and more free in oceans.

i also like swimming, i preffer to swim in pools only, i did swimming in small lakes also, but i didnt in big rivers and oceans, cause its life threatening and risky due to some creatures inside those waters. swimming gives a good stress to the total body, so this is a good exercise to decrease one's body mass and by doing this you can become slim and active also.

I love swimming! I love the feel of the water engulfing my skin and it makes me feel comfortable. I feel like I can do anything when I'm in the water. I used to be afraid of swimming when I didn't know how. But when I learned how to swim, I began to really love it.
Another reason why I love swimming is because it's the ultimate body exercise. You get to exercise all of your muscles at the same time and you can actually enjoy doing it.
