How I did it: Sometimes, events that happen in our life make us feel tired, burdened, or regretful. We spend too much time thinking about a horrible deed we've committed, even though we can no longer change it. So how do we move on from a bad experience?
Lessons & tips: Accept that it happened.
- Live in the present.
- Learn from it.
-Just forgive them for what ever they have done and dont ever be sad they are too human and thus make mistakes just look for hopes because ""fear can hold you as a prisoner and hope can set you free
"If it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger."

Moving on from bad experience can be hard, however, you are right that those events can make one stronger. Life wont stop and the earth will keep on revolving even those things happen. So the best thing to do is to extract the lesson you can get from it and leave behind the bad things that you have seen from that experience. Life is a continuous learning process, and learning through life is more difficult than we the examinations given in school, nevertheless, these lessons will hone us to become a better person, and for that we shall be thankful. Past is connected to the present, like the decisions that we make at the present will have an effect to our future...and since we can't bring the past back, we should just try to make our present a better experience so we may continue living for a good future

Wow that's a beautiful thought you got there girl.
I can't let go much of my past because i am having too many memories. To be honest i wish no one could remember their murky and sad past. There is a movie where a guy remembers something until he sleeps. When he sleeps he forgets everything everytime. I wish i was like that kind of guy. Well i just look at myself in the mirror and keep saying to myself that i will be a better person everyday. It helps me boost my self confidence a little!
Cheers!

I don't think that we can ever truly forgetr the past. there may be events from our past that are difficult to cope with. It is easier to keep these things in the past than to remember them. it makes these memories seem less real. It is the past that defines our present and future. The past makes us the people we are today. forgetting the past is like forgetting ourselves.

If you convinced your subconscious mind that this Incident/event won’t happen again you will find that the past event can't affect you like before.
An additional factor that can help in making past events become painful is Guilt.
So DO NOT FEEL YOURSELF GUILTY in any condition or situation...and it is the key to forget the past...

Reminiscing you negative past experiences is so pathetic. Life is a learning experience. Good things happen, and so bad things too. We have to accept all of it in whatever way, because whatever you do, YOU'VE DONE IT. YOU'VE MADE IT ALREADY. All of us have regrets, right? We can't avoid it. We're just imperfect, for we are humans. We cannot change the happenings in the past, so the best thing to do is to accept that it happened already, try to move on. If you cannot get over with it, you're a weakling. People with determined heart are those who accept all their mistakes and considered all of it as life's experiences. So, there. Learn how to accept every moment that happens in your life.

I don't think you can forget the past, but you can learn to live with whatever happened in it. You need to come to terms with whatever has happened in your past, before you can move on and deal with whatever is going to happen in your future.
I find that thinking things through often helps, and if you think about what you would do in the same situation if it were to happen again, often helps too. If something happened in the past that you couldn't deal with, just knowing that you would be able to deal with it if it happened again should be a great comfort to you.
You should always talk to people about the past as well. Not to the extent that it takes control of your life, but if you speak to them, and get their view, you would be able to see how accurate your own view of events was. Sometimes, we remember things are much worse than they were, because we remember being embarassed about them at the time. Sometimes, all that we need is another person's perspective on the issue to make us realise that we were overthinking the situation, or ever reacting.

Prayer would be the best solution aside from forgiving. It might be easy to forgive but it is very difficult to forget especially if that event made a real impact on your life.Think of it as a positive part of your life and be thankful that no matter what happened, you were able to stand on it and move on. Accept it as a another step forward and towards a better and stronger you.

It's not the easiest thing to do,but it will help you get on your way.The past is a part of your life now,but it is not the most important part.Accept the fact that is can no longer be changed in anyway.Nobody asks to be given a bad memory.People are not perfect.Everyone is prone to make mistakes.

forget the past for what it was already just let it be the lessons learned for you forgive others and forgive yourself also, try to move on forward for the future and accept the reality for the future.

I think the best way for you to forget the past is to continue praying that God may help you to pass that trial. Confess it to him all your feelings, your regrets your fears., etc. Also you have to accept first what was happened and learn from it. Life goes on anyways, don't become prison from your past. Be free! Life is so beautiful. :)

Forgive and forget is easy to say but is really hard to do when the situation involves us.., If you look on the brighter side of things.., mistakes and failures exists for us to learn and it's for us to decide if we allow it to destroy us or mold us into a stronger person.., If you keep on reminiscing that scenario in our head.., it will harder for you to forget it.., Try to divert your emotions and give room for happiness and a great future ahead..=)
