I am proud of her that she made it to the top 5. And shes still the Ms. U here in the Philippines. But i think she answered the question overconfidence and mixed with boastfulness. Well i cant blame her, maybe she just nervous then. Anyway it just my opinion. Peace!!! ;)

I really felt bad about her answer to the judge's question. I think if she had elaborated her answer enough to satisfy the judges, there's a great possibility that she have won the title or got a higher runner-up rank. But I'm still "major major" proud of her. Being on the top 5 is really something.

Well we should not judge her for a single mistake. I understand her situation, it is really hard to speak in the front of many people. I can feel that she is very nervous while answering the question. Anyway, we should be proud of her because she make it to top 5. Atleast, she did her best to win the title. I am major major proud of her.:)

She may have answered it honestly, but i'm doubtful about her response cause I think there is none of us who haven't committed any mistake at least once in their life right, "nobody's perfect" as the saying goes.
So Venus saying that in her entire existence she hasn't experience any major (she could have at least cited some minor mistakes she did before and how did she handled it) or couldn't at least share a single experience regarding the question of William Baldwin, must have cause the crown to slip in her hand.
Reflecting on her answer, when you analyze the totality of it, I think there's nothing much about it, she delivered an empty response actually and there's pretty much nothing to it at all.
And she thank everyone for goodness' sake, as if it was her speech after bagging the tilt, skipping the main focus of the question.
But when you are at that stage with thousands of viewers plus millions via media resources, nerve-racking thoughts and feelings are inevitable, this might have cause her jittery thoughts to come out and shatter her focus on the question and ended it abruptly.
However, I like her, her confidence in the whole event (till the Q & A part) proved once again that the Philippines, we Filipinos have what it takes to be among the top. And we deserved it. Ma. Venus Raj deserved it. Congrats to Venus. More Power Philippines!.

based on Venus appearances on TV i can say that she's an intelligent and confident person. Her answer though on the Q&A wasn't something that the judges would like to hear or something that would impress them. As others were saying, she could have further elaborated. But the Q&A is only part of the event, if she failed to impress people on her answer, i'm sure she already did in other parts of the event. Landing 5ft is not an easy feat, in fact it's more than what other beauty queens have achieved, to think that there were others who are more beautiful and gave witty answers and to that we are proud of her. Just imagine what she had gone through where has to go to court and fight just so she can be recognized as a Filipino. I think this girl is going places.

Well yes we should be proud of her for getting it to the top 5, but i think she could really have done better on the question and answer portion and might even get it to top 3. Gloria Diaz said in an interview that she could have said something like mention his dad perhaps, her big mistake could have been not looking for his father and making it into positive by maybe saying that it's ok because she is happy with her family now that is minus her father. But I realized that being on the stage with all those 4 other beautiful and intelligent ladies is not easy, she admitted that she has this problem that when in front of the stage she doesn't know what she is saying. Anyways, lets all be proud of her..
