Burger King are going to introduce a burger in a pizza next month in New York. Have you seen the size of this thing? It's gross! Apparently, it's supposed to be shared but I bet you any money that some of the large creations WILL NOT be shared.
I only hope we don't get them in the UK..we're getting fatter as it is. Mind you, our portions are miniscule in comparison to the US (rip off comes to mind) lol.
I don't know how they have managed to get this through without the Food Police saying something about it. Maybe you could tell me!

I wonder how many people will die of a heart attack after eating this thing. I know one person who would be at the front of the queue..the late, great Elvis Presley!

Hi Janey,
You know the saying "you can lead the horse to the water, but you cannot force it to drink it?" well its down to the people, if they want to be greedy, let them suffer and hope the N.S.H won't help them when they get fat, I don't eat burgers and all that killer food, so its down to choices, I just pray that it wont come here to the UK.

Hi Tamara! I think it will but a smaller version. We shall see!

I'd go along with that assumption! At least, if I have a supermarket- bought burger (which aren't perfect but OK) I can jazz it up a bit with loads of lettuce and tomatoes to make me feel better!

I agree, but surely a huge company like Burger King would change people's attitudes to their food overnight if they just added a smidgen of common-sense to what they're offering customers. I would have heart failure if I ate one of those pizza burgers and no doubt lawsuits will ensue in America if anyone DOES suffer a heart attack after eating one.

What you mean the greedy against the non-greedy?

Well, actually, I USED to like Burger King (we have one a few yards down the road) BUT I agree with Dawn..it's gross, mainly due to serving up cold food on a regular basis. It's now boycotted! Fish and chips for us my friends (once a week ONLY), a British institution and long may it be so.

I mean, it looks like some drunk has put it together at home and got a bit carried away!

Hello Janey. I saw that in a newspaper earlier this week. I felt sick just thinking about it. Whoever had the idea to make this needs to grow up and there should be a law to prevent junk like that from being sold. It contains more calories than a working man needs in a day and according to health guidelines it contains a weeks worth of salt. Burger King should hang their heads in shame, grow up and take this killer off the menu.

What was that programme called from a few years back where a totally healthy guy decides to eat just burgers for a month, was it? I'd love to know what he thinks about it.

I remember the programme but I can't remember what it was called. If I can find out I'll get back to you. I bet he's disgusted by it.

Hmm, I guess Burger King hasn't read all the new stories in the last decade about the growing obesity epidemic! Or as someone else said, maybe they're trying to compete with KFC's new Double Down.
You have to wonder who the target customer is for this kind of thing - even if you split it among several people, it's still got tons of calories and fat.
Maybe if you order one, BK will give you a complimentary angioplasty to clean out your coronary arteries, LOL...

Haha! Or a few paramedics on stand-by! Really, what on earth were they thinking, bringing that out? The best idea would be to share it with LOADS of friends but then you will find who's the greediest out of the group, rather like at buffets! They always come out of the woodwork and polish off the best bits!

well looks like in the picture, it is really to be shared! i mean a slice is just enough for the person's hand and that should be good enough. hehe i hope he really does share and that he won't gobble up such a huge pizza...
here in the philippines, our serving sizes are really small. especially in burgers, mcdonald's burger king, and KFC. :D
but i know these fastfoods really are not your best choice for a healthy meal...

It's just as well that your serving sizes aren't that big. Let's hope they stay that way because you don't want an obesity problem in your country. The UK is probably catching up the US due to the fact not many people bother cooking anymore so they eat crap. I cook, because I've learned off my Mum although even people her age can't be ar*ed now, which is a shame.

Never mind the heart attack... that thing's big enough to choke a horse!
I recently heard someone mention something about "deep-fried butter"... mmm...

I know, it's absolutely massive isn't it? When you think about all the hungry people in the world, then look at that, it makes me feel sick even more.

nasty.i've noticed huge obnoxious pizzas never seem to be cooked well enough anyway.
i make it a habit not to buy new things from chains known to specialize in something else.it usually shows in the food.
that's like the pizza huts here-they have no business selling lasagna.
i'll go to a real italian restaurant for that, thanks.

I'd love to visit Italy as I went to a "proper" Italian restaurant in England and their pizzas were NOTHING like the rubbish that's found in so-called pizza chains. Funny that, isn't it?
I'd probably love their ice-cream as well (in Italy) so I know I wouldn't starve!

We all know how unhealthy these foods are individually but TOGETHER! That's taking it a bit far. I know people can't decide on a pizza or a burger (I'm only a fan in small doses) but to have them eat it all at once can't be good. They'll probably offer a slice of lettuce on the side to make it look as though it's healthy. Yeh, right!

Wow that is insane! I have to admit I love Burger King and other fast food but still try to watch what I am eating. This country is insanely obese and these companies know they can just keep producing things that are bigger and people will still flock to their fast food chain and purchase them. Why can't they start making more healthy options like some other places? I guess that would just be too logical so it'd be easier to make the most fattening items and keep adding to obesity.
Before anyone gets upset just keep in mind I am not some super skinny girl and I love some bad food just as much as the rest of us but I think sometimes companies just get ridiculous when it comes to putting out new items.

I do know what you are getting at and you're right. We don't have to eat something so large, are they trying to encourage us to be greedy or what? My hubby - when he eats a kebab doesn't have any salad with it and (in his own words) said that "there's loads but I choose not to have it" so all that's on his plate is a load of meat. If I ate something like that I would have to soak it all up with lettuce and tomato..it is free after all!
