WOuld you KILL to save your own LIFE?

This question is one main reason why I had a second thought of entering the Police.
I dont know if I have the guts to kill to save my own life.
I am more afraid to kill than see a ghost.
If you're in a situation that you have to kill to save your own life, do you think you have the guts to pull the trigger? Why?

for me that is the reflex action that is there in all human beings. if someone is trying to kill you ....why on earth wouldn't you try to save yourself? it is human nature.

I guess it would depend upon the situation. If the person i will be killing to save my life is a criminal or a bad person and has done something that harmed many people then yes I could kill him. But other than that, i guess i will be having second thoughts..

I cannot imagine myself pulling a trigger and pointing it to another living soul.. My guts and conscience cannot take it at all.. I cannot afford to risk somebody else lives just to save my own life.. If you feel the same way as I do then you should be having second thoughts in entering the police...=)

Why wouldnt i?
in the court of law its called self defence,
If a man has the heart to want to harm me,then i would certainly have the heart,guts and right to pay him in his own measure.
Prevention my friend is better than cure ok.

To be honest, I don't know. On the one hand, I think the will to survive is very strong. But, the ability to kill is not easy either. At least, I don't find it easy. So I can't say with any certainty whether I could.

u should condition urself before considering in entering the police profession...
its just logic...
if you kill for the good then ur robinhood..
if you kill for bad things..then ur goin to hell
whatever it is... we dont kow whats in store for us... so do what u want best... and let god do all the rest
