I am male, 180cm heigh, 65kgs weight. Watching my photoes which was taken a couple of days ago, I found I am so thin. owing to this reason, my face looks even a bit long. What's more, I usually have poor appetite and eat little. Many methods have been tried but the situation still keep the same. I am so frustrated and disappointed.
For married man, I do care about it. Do you have such a poor experience? Any methods could be recommended? Don't tell me eat fast food with high calories as much as I could.

Pancakes, pizza, pasta, milkshakes, potatoes, bread. All carbs. All the time. That's what seems to work for me. When my husband was in the hospital in 2009 and kept losing weight, they gave him double portions at each meal and that was all that he needed. Of course, you have to make sure that you eat them. Don't discount fast food. When you look at the calorie content of those meals, you could definitely pack on some weight. A typical serving of a burger and fries has over 1500 calories in it. Are you very physically active? If so, try eating the above foods and not doing any exercise for a week. Weigh yourself and see if that does the trick for you. Good luck

I'm afraid that I would have to disagree with you. A half cup of chocolate icre cream from Stone Cold Creamery is 390 calories. You would have to eat more than 4 medium sized apple to get the same amount of calories as you would get in a 1/2 cup of ice cream. I'll bet that you could eat more than a half cup of ice cream and I gurantee you that you couldn't eat 4 medium apples

I have a similar problem. Get the weight is very difficult. Need to eat much meat, fish, dairy produce. Need to go the weight room two or three times a week. Each time you need to be trained each muscle group. After the workout to go home and eat a lot of products containig the protein. Before the workout adviced to eat vegatables and fuits. Eat at least two hours before a workout.
The result will not be quick. Will pas a very long time. In this way did not get only fat but you will get the muscles and look great.
Good luck!

You're one of the few people that asks how to gain weight.
Okay, I do not know if this will work for you. I hope it will though. Eat foods rich in carbohydrates like rice, bread etc. Don't forget to eat a balanced meal. Try avocado with milk too. I tastes nice, and you'll probably gain weight.
Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper. Remember this. Here's a link too:

I hope this helps you.

I have a lot of friends who have this problem. And even on television I have heard in some news that it is in fact a whole lot more difficult to pack on muscle and weight rather than get rid of fat. For fat, diet and exercise is fine, but for thin people, the road is not laid out. Genetics can be a real pain in the neck sometimes and I empathize with your frustration. My friends have done everything and only one succeeded and even he didn't know how. But personally, I would advice you to see a professional like a nutritionist if it has been affecting you're health. Self diagnosis can be misleading at times. Good luck!

you can get fat by eating high calorie foods like fries ice creams and cakes. Then try to take Multivitamins containing buclizine which is an appetite stimulant. And of course chocolates which are high calorie containing food. i was thin too before. But when I started eating such, I gained weight easily.

According to my knowledge if you've got a high metabolism you can't help it but your going to stay thin.... I've got friends who are also like that, no matter how much they eat, they still stay the same. :)
May I ask, is your family all thin or is it just you?

If you can't gain fat, gain muscles. Go to a gym every twice a week at least. If you dispose sweats from the gym, you're getting hungry. Try to eat food with more protein like eggs or meat. If you keep on doing it continously, then in 2-3 months, you'll see the difference.

So, you have a health problem for your weight. I think that according to your height you are quite underweight. My uncle is a diet expert. I have learned some good tips of health from him. I will share them with you.
1. The main thing to be healthy is to drink some healthy juice in the very morning and then went out for jogging. I will rather suggest to jog at least 2 miles a day to be fit.
2. Now just do a normal day. Remember that if you do jogging daily, your hunger will soon increase and you will surely eat more. Please don't do overwork as it will be harmful for you. Just remember that you need not to pressure your body too much.
3. If you are fond of vegetables then try to eat them more and if you like non-beg then i will rather suggest to take chickens and other protein foods thrice a week.
I wish the information helped you!
Enjoy!

Dude I eat all the time and I'm married with two kids, it all started when she was pregnant and then from there everything went down hill. I would rather be skinny than chunky. I am 5'6 ft. and weigh 170 lbs. I have been trying to lose weight by running and working out. My recommendation is be happy with how you are and proud of how you look.

Hi, Zhang, My boyfriend have the same problem with you. No matter how much he eats, there is no use for his geting weight. I think maybe it's stress and genes that make him slim.

My sister wanted to gain a few extra pounds so she used protein shake powder stuff mixed with milkshakes, at NIGHT. you burn fewer calories in your sleep! It's not really a good idea to have a heavy meal before sleep but because it is a drink i don't think it would be too bad. Good luck!

Exercise and eat a lot of protein and this will definitely give you some muscle weight. I also heard eating bananas everyday and drinking banana milk juice will help you gain some weight.

Good for you, sirzhang, making the healthy effor tto gain weight.
I have had to gain weight over the years (and the other way around too). Mostly from medical setbacks. So, here are some suggestions:
(First off, are you in the USA, or Asia, or elsewhere?)
- ENSURE drink (especially when I really needed to gain weight, I drank at least 3 of these a day). Yummy chocolate flavor.
- BOOST drink
- Odwalla (I just started trying these out this summer, recommended from nutritionist)
There are many other nutritional, supplemental drinks. Also, if your insurance covers, I recommend you see a nutritionist who can help you figure out what needs to be done.
Best of luck, and keep us up to date! :O)

I have a similar situation with you, but after I graduate from my university and have more rest I gain weight instantly. I would like to recommend that you should fake your metabolism. Vary the volume of your meals. You can eat more this day, then less on another days. Have plenty of sleep. And stop thinking too much.
Actually, by doing this, I can gain or loose weight in a matter of 1-2 weeks only.
