internet and tv at the same time

Yes. I am very guilty of this. I always turn on my tv and my computer together. Sometimes my purpose is to really use the computer, but I'm used to having my tv on even if sometimes I'm really watching. The only one exemption is if I'm watching a movie or playing music in my computer. But if I'm watching tv/dvd, my computer is always turn on even if I'm not doing anything. I know that its not a good practice and a total waste of energy. I hope I'll be able to change soon. :(

Yes, I'm guilty of it as well. We often don't notice that we are wasting time but using the internet and TV at the same is really a waste. I often find myself opening up sites and then watching a current tv series. It's really habit that has to be stopped.

Hello cheravs. If I watch TV, I do not use the Internet and vice versa. I find it hard to get focused on doing these two things at the same time. Otherwise I would not enjoy myself as much. Take care.

It's my habit everyday while infront my laptop my TV also ON but I didn't mind what the programs because my attention focus on my work online. I have my room mate and he always watching TV. I sleep late at night and he also sleep early in the morning. While he is busy watching TV I am also busy making some stuff in my laptop. When there is funny programs we both watching on it. Like now, we watch AFV it's too funny. We laughed together. Hahahha

My computer and my televison are in the same room, but they are on opposite sides of the room. When i am on the computer, i try to focus all of my attention to what i am doing there. I can still hear the televison behind me. If a program captures my attention away from the computer, I will stray away to watch it. The only sure solution to not paying any attention to television while i am on the computer is to turn off the television.
