Do you still watch beauty pageants such as Miss Universe, Miss World, etc?

I'm just curious. Do you guys still watch these pageants? I've never missed one back when I was a kid. I've always been fascinated by such beautiful women. But now I'm just not into it anymore. How about you?

If i saw my wife watching, then i would watch it to, if i have nothing to do. Beauty contest are not so popular with me, i like Boxing and X Games and Grand Prix.

I remember my dad and my brothers would have no choice when my mom and I would watch the pageant when I was young. Poor guys. :)

I guess the ladies rules the television or say the HOUSE, although we have a couple television, the one on the living that we always use, that is where the you get to lie at the sofa as you watch.

I agree. We look at things differently now that these pageants don't appear as important or fascinating as it used to. Or maybe I just didn't have the time to watch. Some of my friends still watch it every year.

Well, I do not the time to look at such events anymore. There was a time when I did. But I seem to have lost interest on those things. I was only able to find out that there was such a competition when it was shown in the news.

I just watched recently because I wanted to see the question and answer part. They're all really beautiful and they are so lucky to have the opportunity to be there. They even went to the popular and beautiful places in LA. I also remembered when I was younger, I would have a pen and notebook with me when I watch Miss Universe because I would take down their names with their scores in it. I did that maybe for 2 or 3 years.

Really? I can't remember the things I did while watching these way back. But I sure was fascinated with the ladies and how gorgeous they were.

Yes i still like to watch their shows and most of all i like is their catwalk. They sure know how to grab a guy's attention and i am sure most will stare at them wordlessly. They are really great models and one should not forget the hard work they have done and pains they have undergone to be in such a situation and that each and everyone deserves to be up there.
I still watch those shows again and i also vote for my favorites!

I know! Such beauty is pricey because of all the workouts and trimming and diet. It sure pays, though, they look absolutely stunning. They look like barbie dolls.

When I was in my teens, I would stay tuned in front of the television just to watch them live and replays. Would practice how they walk and how to answer questions. Lately, I only watch them when there is something controversial that happened like when Miriam Quiambao tripped and almost won the crown and the latest Miss Universe where our candidate had an answer that had cost her the throne.

Now that I'm a bit older, I'm starting to find their responses bland and predictable. I ask these questions to my trainees and they're able to come up with far better responses.
