When thinking of ways to reduce stress in life, usually techniques like meditation, yoga and journaling come to mind. These are great techniques, to be sure. But getting a new best friend can also have many stree relieving and health benefits. The friends provide great social support and come with some fabulous benefits.
As mentioned to the friends, except for human friends, furry friends have been an important part for our life. For those who love animals, it's virtually impossible to stay in a ban mood when a pair of loving puppy eyes meets yours,or when a super-soft cat rubs up against your hand.
Do you agree with me? Do you have a good mood when you stay with your pet?

Yes I agree mate. Too much stress is not good for the health. I think I am one who experience alot of stress everyday from my work and my family. I need to relieve from it so that I will feel better. The only way my stress become lesser is when the time I went to the room of my friend who has a very cute little puppy, I always play with the pet and I'm happy doing it. My friend also happy watching me with his dog. I do believe that animals is the great help to relieve stress.

Well then I should be stress FREE as I have 21 of these stress relievers. I do thnk they help LOTS. They make me smile every morning. They make me laugh.. YOu can feel tension leave you body when you are petting them..
They try to trip me. They claw me and leave scratch marks everywhere. They leave me broke.. LOL Oh well, everything has a trade off.
I wouldn't want it any other way. I like my stress relievers, even when they don't let me sleep.

Hi liweiwei0909! I'm a certified pet lover and a proud owner of two healthy dogs. I really do agree that they help reduce stress. Whenever I come home from work, then I see them greeting me, they take away the tiredness I feel during the whole day. They had been my companion. I love my pets. Happy mylotting!

Yes, I agree, it can really cheer you up, and also get your mind off less pleasant things. I think there has also been some research that proves this.

You are right, owning a pet reduce stress. When I have a tiring day at work, I can't wait to go home to my dog. When I'm with her, I forget all the stress from the office. Every worry melt down when she looks at me with those eyes. I think I could never live without a dog by my side.

Absolutely, they are so cute and loveable and all they want to do is just sleep on your lap.
