citizenship for your kid from other country!!

Do you think getting citizenship to our kids from other land is good??? why dont most of the parents not thinking about this, i agree if the parents are settling themself in other country due to job or some reasons but nowadays i see most of them going for job onsite and getting card for thr babies.......... when they come back after thr time slot is over...they really don't understand that the kid is in trouble for the complete future from school admission to college and further......??? i didnt appreciate when i heard that one of my friend is so happy to get card for thr baby thr, i had a argument which made me to write here today!!! home land is homeland why most of them don't understands this .....:(

Some countries allow their citizen to hold dual passport. If your country allows it, I think it will be wise to have it. My country does not permit such practises and it is denying me of the chance to maybe explore the opportunities available in other countries unless I give up the citizenship.
