Here's something to melt your heart away:
A perfect partner in life is someone you can be with and talk about anything without realizing that the day was over...
Someone who will always listen and feel twice the joy or pain you're going through..
When you start to feel that "connection", never let it go 'coz there is more to companionship than to love and be loved...
Because in the end, when all else fails and were consumed, you will always hold on to those times when you don't even need to hear the words "I Love YOU".....

I have such person you mention in your started discussion and he is my boyfriend, of which we live together now for 4 years. Although he is all these things he is certainly not perfect. This I say as I am not perfect either.
My boyfriend and or another person like him depict what striving for a perfect and wonderful relationship.
Sure we have our ups and downs it is how we go about remembering why we want to be and stay together is what makes us both strive for perfection.

well.., we are in the same boat here.., me and my boyfriend have been together for four years now..,and we've been through a lot of things.., I would say that our imperfections made us both perfect for each other.., we compliment each other.., and it made our relationship stronger..=)

I think everyone of us has his/her unique partner. But then, our partners are not perfect. you know why? Because God created them to be imperfect so that there would be a room for growth and development in the relationship. The beauty about this is that you can see how you two started, then slowly your relationship is molded until you have the solid foundation that is built in love that you have shared to each other. This relationship is like a symbiosis. There is a mutual benefit to both parties. Whenever we need someone to hold onto, our partners will be there for us till the end.

you are right my friend.., if perfect relationship exists.., it would be so boring.., like a house which is so sparkling clean that the servants will no longer have anything to do..,=)

These sentences are really beautiful,but I don't think we can find a perfect partner too.Just take my girlfriend for example,she is pretty,clever,diligent and filial to her parents,I love her so much but sometimes she is so easier to get angry at me and then a quarrel breaks out,even when I do not make a mistake.But i think this is just where the happyness of love lies in.
You come to love not by finding the perfect person,but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly. As for whether we can find everlasting love or not ,i'm still confused,haha..Need someone to enlighten me.

exactly my point.. who wouldn't want to have a perfect relationship? But it isn't in existence.., if you will search for it.., you will never find until you die.., but imperfect relationships are a challenge.., it keeps the relationship strong.., see..., God made everything with a purpose..-)

I agree that it's nice to have that person in your life, and im sure some people have found that "Perfect one".. the problem is most people expectations of 'Perfect' is incredibly high, so it simply wont happen, but yes.. feeling a connection is probably one of the nicest feelings, shame they don't last forever.

yes..it's nice to hear perfection.., and when people fell in love without knowing yet how the reality of love works.., they'll get discouraged and gave up on that relationship..,once they see the real picture and they cannot deal with it=(

Actually I don't believe there is a perfect partner. But I believe there is an almost perfect one. That is why there is no perfect relationship because nobody's perfect.
But I believe in love, and in happiness when it blooms, sadness when it is over. Love sometimes makes a dream come true and opposite when it is critical. Love can last a lifetime and some just die in the heat of the sun (temptation and problems).
But we must hold on to what love can bring because there is a saying that it is better to love and fail than to never love at all.

yes.., it's better to feel love and be loved even in a short span of time..,and be hurt all of a sudden than live all through your life without experiencing the happiness that love could bring..happy mylotting..=)
