I am a nurse by profession and i can say that nursing is only difficult if you don't love the course. That should have to be your first love for you to succeed nursing with no failing marks. It will only get hard when you do your duties on the different hospitals for 8 hours and do your requirements when you get home which really would take hours before you finish. I even experienced just 3 hours of sleep and go on duty by the next morning.. But despite every hardship, the smiles and happiness you give to your patients is incomparable. It is important because if there are no nurses in the hospitals, no one will take care of our sick love ones.

Being a nurse is very difficult. In any other job, if you make a mistake it might only cost money, however if you make mistakes as a nurse, it can cost lives.
Families of patients are always protective of their relative, and will be the first to point the finger if anything should go wrong during their treatment.
It is an incredibly rewarding profession though, if you put your heart and soul into it. It might be the best thing you ever do, and obviously it's important because it saves people's lives.

I think nursing is a very challenging major. There was a time before when nursing was such an important major cause it was in demand but that changed already cause there are so many nurses in the world now. If they pass the licensure examination, the next question would be where to put them.

compare to other course nursing is not so difficult. What makes it difficult is when you think it is hard..to tell honestly nursing is not so difficult as you think it is.you will never appreciate it if this is not your passion. It is important as you know that nurses are in demand abroad and highly compensated. We need additional nurses for our hospital to equip the needs of our patient.

it's not as difficult as you think it is, if you have the passion and patience for becoming a nurse. of course it's important.... you know how many hospitals are out there in need of services of a nurse.... i think patience and compassion are important virtues of a good nurse.

Nursing can be a very difficult profession for some but if you really are passionate about it and want to be one for a career then it will come easy to you the more you study and experience situations on the job. Many people do not go into nursing as they don't like to be around sick or injured people or because they faint when they see blood. Most people can tolerate blood and only a small amount of people are not able to take it.
