Usually I am going for vacation so I am going over all my plans and what I need to do when I get there, how much fun I am gonna have. Things like that. If its the trip on the way home it is usually thinking about my bed and my dog and the comforts of home that I miss. No matter how much fun a vacation is...home is always a good thing to return to.

yes nothing beats home
no matter where you go, you always long for home or the place you've become accustomed to call home...
sigh

Every time before my flight i would make sure that all my belongs are packed and then try to relax. I'm gonna miss my family and all my friends. Anyway, i hope this trip would gonna be a safe trip. I don't know why that i have a strange feeling every time before my flight, maybe because i'm going to a new place and i'm not familiar to this place. But later than i become normal and the felling disappeared. I'm happy and really excited about my new trip...

If I am not on hurry I will check first my luggage but most of the time a day before my flight my wife will prepare all the things I am going to bring or pack inside my luggage. Life what happened when I went to Manila last April before I left for Saudi Arabia.
So far I left nothing at that time but my luggage weighed more than the allowed weight of the plane. I paid more for the excess weight of my luggage.
Wondering about it and I don't want to pay in excess for my next air trip for abroad so I left some of my belongings to my cousin in Manila but in NAIA my luggage weighed only 10 kilos less than the allowed weight for International flight. What a regret why I didn't inquire first the allowed kilos of luggage.
I think you should also know the exact weight of your luggage and also the allowed weight of the plane you are going to take on your flight. Sometimes the number appear on your ticket is different from the actual.

Hi,
Normally before I left my home for a flight, I will double check make sure
I don;t miss out anything That I need to bring along and also confirm
that air ticket and passport is inside my bag. That is the most important
documents.
I always get ready my luggage about 1 week before my flight. I slowly packed my
things and at least, the chance of missing out things is lesser.

I'm actually a procrastinator (which not really a good thing) but it somehow works for me so I usually pack my luggage a few hours before my flight and check on the stuff that needs to be brought. Of course say a little prayer before I take the flight for a safe trip.
