What does a good human mean to you?

Nowsday with the world as is it, if a person don not cause harm to other human being is already good, doing good to other is an added bonus.So many times, human suffering is afflicted by other human because of their bad ways of going for profit with full greed and such, hence a good human is one that try it best not to cause harm to others.

..for me, there is no good or bad human...why? because those are based on opinions and not fact...determining whether someone is good or bad might be affected with certain situation, rumors, environment and other things...for me, i can't see I am good, but I can't say I am a bad person either...I am more on a neutral one...so long as you don't hurt other people intentionally and so long as you understand and respect others, then everything will be fine..

hi lore I think a good human being cares about himself or herself so he or she can be kind and compassionate to all others. A good human being is not selfish, and does care about all people , all life, including nature 'and will want to help preserve it.we must love ourselves so we know how to love our fellow men. We are all God's children and a good person will remember that all his or her life too.

Hi dear, You have mentioned in the entire book in a one or two words. In the present society, human must be honest first to himself and the rest of all. We can see the trend that no one even keep honest to self. No values and respect to others also. Being good he/she can spread comfort and satisfaction to others. It improves quality, respect and integrity as well. But no one understands the importance of being a good human being. I am telling from experience and I always prefer to be a good human being with all respects. By doing so, I am getting a sort of pleasure and that I enjoy. This pleasure leads me to do more of that sort and goodness with others also. But there are instances that if others are lacking these kind of nature I used to get annoyed being raged to disturbances. some times we come across people who we feel are good.What is that which makes the difference.For instance when we approach a friend for hand loan and he refuses and then we approach a second and he gives. We begin to think that the second friend is good. Therefore deciding goodness or badness of a person depends on various situations and circumstances.The over all judgment depends upon kindness , honesty forgiveness and many noble qualities.I personally feel compassion is the best. Bhudism rightly preaches that developing compassion is the right way of living it includes all other noble qualities

I agree with you completely. I also think being a good person means that you can look at things from the perspective of others, and even though you may not agree, you honestly try to understand. I also think speaking up when you can offer someone advice even if they might not like it makes a person good too.

A good human has to be kind, loving, sympathetic, caring, patient and tolerant. He has to be honest as you said. He should bring peace of mind to others. He must do things that would be beneficial for universal good. He should render a selfless service to others. His primary concern should be to make this world a better place to live not only people of this generation but for the generation that is yet to come.

One who loves and respects himself or herself would love and respect others as much and does make a good human. I may never be perfect but here's one guiding principle to look to.

Being a good human has several characters. Honest, sincere and good to their parents are all the basic principles. I think I am a good human and kind to everyone no matter my friends or strangers. Maybe I am not the perfect one, but must be kind one.

Good ppl come in various forms and i've jsut learned to appreciate everyone for they have to offer. . . i won't cry over spilled milk or that someone has such a bad attitude i will look past its not worth it. . . maybe they're just have a bad day or bad week or bad year . . . or bad life. its not my place to judge so i won't, we can only be as good as we won't so i won't look down on anyone that i don't consider a good person.

being a good human being isn't actually all that hard. Being caring, understanding, helpful and kind are few ways to be a good human. Being the best you can be and handling situation/people with tenderness and understanding will help you to trust in you more and you yourself with even feel more relaxed in life. There are many things you can do to be a good person and it and it all involves doing good deeds all of love and kindness..being selfless and loving your fellow human being as well as being forgiving and nurturing to other people's feeling even if they are not so kind to you

A good human is one that loves God and then by extension loves all people. They contribute in a positive way to humanity. I try to do that in my life.
