why hill stations? I'm not sure if you can call Genting Highlands a hill but it is situated in top of some high place.

As for I know, there are different high lands in Malaysia best information you can find from website of travel Malaysia. Ginting High land is one of the best. It is totally different from other parts of Malaysia. The only thing to enjoy is weather, I really like cold weather. Camrone high land is also good, you can see different tea gardens and strawberries fields on this high land. Langkawi is also a good option for you, but it is not a type of highland. You can visit hill station in Lankawi and Penang. There are other options too, just visit travel Malaysia website
