ok, I have done this one before. You can find very cool mugs at the dollar store. I added a neat coaster, some tea selections, a book can be added too. If you want to spruce it up a little you can buy a travel mug instead of a regular mug for commuters.

Of course everyone has mentioned mugs. Go to your local dollar stores they have some wonderful stuff. Make your own flavored sugars....like vanilla bean, cinnamon (use a cinnamon stick), fragrant herbs like lavender (put in a breathable sachel inserted in sugar to flavor then take the sack out when finished). Add a soothing cd, book, puzzle book. don't forget the candy cane they make great stirrers for coffee.

hmmm. would lavender sugar taste good? it sounds too flowery to me but if it has been done and liked i guess it cant be that bad. sounds very interesting.

like a few others have mentioned ...some nice coffee cups, what about some sugar in a nice container, a coffee plunger, if you live close to your sister how about a little certificate saying you will shout her a coffee when you go out. Some nice biscuits to enjoy with the coffee.
Thats about all the ideas i have this early in the morning....need a coffee now after talking about it lol

Ooh nice idea! For a coffee basket? Hmm that's quite hard. Maybe some after eight mints? They normally do them with tea and coffee in fancy places don't they:) or some digestive biscuits as everyone likes them with their tea and coffe:) Have you tried googling christmas basket lists?

Glad you like my idea :) Maybe you could Matchmakers instead or both & perhaps instead of digestives you add 'nice' biscuits or shortbread :)

Yes the caramel will harden up, you dip it in there, let it set before you dip it in the chocolate.
Also you can add, pumpkin pie spice to melted white chocolate for another littled kick of flavor.
Crushed peppermint to the chocolate for a wintery taste.
See living in New York on a farm has its advantages ;)

Do you bake or can you make candy? If you don't bake, try some gifts in a jar. I have several recipes that I could share with you. I am going to give calendars that have all the family birthdays and anniversaries listed on it. Candy making has been a passion for me. This year I am making several candies for each member of the family. I also love to bake so I am going to make some cinnamon rolls and cookies to include in the package. Let me know if I can be of help.
