Do you think women and men should perform the same or different roles? Are men usually the bread winners and women usually the home-makers in your country?

in our country, it's been a norm that men are the bread winners and the women, stays at home and take care of the children and do household chores. but now, the trend is way different from before. women have stepped up to play the roles of men. i think it's amazing that women are able to do what people have thought only men are capable of doing. with life being more difficult and unpredictable, i think it's okay for both parties, men and women, to perform the same roles as long as they are capable.

In a common family setting, it is really the man who takes care of the family financially, hence they are the breadwinners. Women, or wives are there to support the family and the kids at home - she does all the household chores, cooking, caring for the children and be their guide. That i believe is how it should be... but in our case, life has been really hard - times is quite different now from what used to be before and only man working in the family is not enough anymore - the money is not enough, hence women need to help their husbands and also bring food to the table.

in our country's culture that's how it usually is. men are usually the bread winners and women the home-makers but that doesn't mean they can't interchange roles. i think it depends on the couple or the family how they'll go about things.
