I am thinking my responses must be pretty boring!!

There are many instances too that I don't get commented back by the posters while they commented on many others who responded after me. I was skipped. And sometimes selected off. Makes me wonder if my responses lack substance, or my humor is corny. I don't know,. Makes me really insecure sometimes.

dear chem, perhaps you are answering to the wrong questions where people are not responding back.... well, if you compare to MY record, you are way behind because I always wanted to have the last say, so I get my way and am always the last

Hmmm.. I don't think it has something to do with the response you made because I myself am not looking into other people's responses that much prior to responding to the topic itself. Perhaps it just so happened that people thought that the topic was already responded by so many people (or even you) to the point when what they thought of was already stressed several times. I think you shouldn't feel bad really, it might be because you responded so well that you have virtually covered every possible thought another responder would have wanted to post.

You are going wrong nowhere... It is just that the threads you drop by are just a bit old by the time you reply them. Had that been the case (as you say) maybe you would not have started this thread et all!

Judging from this page..I think you are pretty cool. I like your humor. maybe, since there are a ton of post yours maybe just been overlooked. :) I get very few response to my discussions as well...

hmmmm, such good and pretty responses in every discussion how come people will feel bored ? me i just trying very hard to get attention from others members since my english is so poor , i wish my english can be as great as your in futures .

Oh, I had better check my few discussions and see if I have left you hanging. I have a bad habit of getting busy and delaying my return to a discussion for a few days. You could just be responding to a number of people like me. Or it could just be pure bad luck.

You're probably not boring, but just responding to discussions that are older or out of the 'loop' of people seeing it. and sometimes it takes a while for more people to reply to a discussion and if you check it the next day, you might be the only one. There are so many discussions here on mylot, it's hard for EVERYONE to reply to them. So don't worry, there are a lot of people who have the same problem/issue with being the last person to post. I'm sure I have a few where I'm the ONLY person who replied.

Dear friend, May be just give nap, hope this topic is not boring, may be some topics might be, still there are chances give new new topics again, come on, give new topics again and again, even one topic could be a just a bumber hit that could overtake all other topics.

Hi Oldchem, I actually feel the same way. I had responses to discussions that didn't get any comment from the one who started it and when I checked back most of the responses have been responded to except for a few, which included mine. I think that maybe my answer didn't satisfy him/her, or maybe it was, yes, you got the word - boring. I sometimes feel bad about it because I do comment on all the responses to my own discussions, and have never considered any response as boring, or not worth responding to. Anyway, I don't dwell on it, I just move on.

Hiya chem, If you are the Invisible Man of Mylot then I am the invisible Woman (grin). No you are not boring some people respond when they can and who they want to. Don´t take it to heart chem practically all of us on here find you interesting to answer back to hey I mean in responses.

there has been a number of times where i respond to a discussion and don't get a comment back. although i really don't care/mind if i do or don't. i'm still making money w/ mylot. so it does not affect me either way. i'm not bothered by it either. i know im not boring, if they think so, its their lost.

dear oldchem1 its not at all boring if its in the end, there are many reasons to that : for example the person whos started the discussion is in different time zone that of yours and all get to respond before you. By the time you get to reply them there is a huge list..... for me all the commnents are given equal importance even if they are negative and will try to make them positive for me in coming days :) so get going mylottingggggggggg :)

I don't think so, but I rarely ever see you respond to any discussions. I don't think that they're boring, I think it's that they don't stand out.

Well not every time you can post and knock it out of the park. There are not that many posts that are out and about home runs when you post. I know that is the case for me a lot of the time. There are times where I really wish that I could put a little more into the posts than I do. Still, sometimes they just come out flat. In fact, there are a lot of times where my posts might seem like a good idea at the time. However, when I look back on my responses, it is really something that is not going to be really all that excitement. A lot of the times, it might be a case of just getting in as the discussion is being pushed underneath the weight of everything else on this Internet forum. Still, sometimes there are posts that do not come across as well.

Hey what is this?? everyone has got there flaws .. I'm a bad discussion starter.. so I like to respond and comment....and most of which are boring... but still I like to respond in the same manner... I need to be true to myself... thanks for sharing.. have a great day/night....

LOL...or maybe what you have to say just says it all! When there is no more to be said, folks don't tend to say it. LOL Hugs, girlfriend!

Don't worry about that. To be honest, most your responses are quality and helpful to other friends here. In my eyes, all what you need to do on myLot is post responses following your interests and habits and don't pay much attention to what others said. Of course, if you are really thinking your responses are boring, then try some measures to improve it please. Everyone here prefers to those quality discussions and responses.
