Hello. myLotters! I got an advice and I'd like to ask your opinion. What is the best way to earn your living? To have a full-time job plus a part-time job, make additional work etc... Or find something with enough money to be a single job... Or start your own business. What do you think?

A job with a large company may be considered an asset. This is especially true for management jobs or those where the prospect for career advancement is good.
If you have the aptitude for management work, it is much better to work for someone else at first. The experience and contacts you develop will be particularly useful in the future. In my opinion, it is less risky to start a business this way.

Everything has its pros and cons. Having a job means having a steady paycheck, but you have a boss and your earnings are limited to your pay rate. Having a business means being your own boss and there is no cap on your earnings, but you don't have the certainty that a regular paycheck gives. If you can manage, you can do both -- have a job and a business at the same time.
In my case, I have an online job and I'm earning well, but I need to augment my income because I support my whole family, so I'm trying to put up an online business from scratch. I am so thankful that MyLot exists because I have a way to earn money to fund my projects. I am starting small and I will eventually work my way up if everything goes well.

I have a decent job right now but it's far away from my family. I am working abroad to earn more because if I work on my locality the salary is very low and it can't sustain my family's needs. Before I went here I doing a business but because of health problem of my mom before I used my money from business to paid hospital bill so my business need enough capital that is why I am force to work abroad to answer this needs. I don't any plan to work here long because I prepare to do business than working. In business your income is not fixed and you can spend more time to your family.

Never mind the part-time jobs. Instead, keep your day-time job, focus on only one job, and start a part-time business in your spare time. With a job, you get paid for what you worked for. The problem is, we only have one body, one pair of hands/arms, and one pair of feet. Plus, we are only given 24 hours a day. Jobs are efforts based and time-based. You earn more by working hard, and working longer hours. The question is, can you work 24 hours a day to earn more? Can you work 48 hours a day to earn even more?
With a business, you create a system, a business system and let the system work for you. Of course, starting and building a business at first requires your focus, time and effort. But remember, you are building a system that can work for you later on whether you work on your business or not.
One example is, when you need water, you can either haul buckets of water from a distant well. With that strategy, the amount of water you can have depends on your efforts of physically hauling buckets from the well to your storage. What if you get tired and eventually stop hauling buckets of water? What if you get sicked and can no longer physically haul buckets?
Now, compare it with the strategy of building automatic pumps and pipelines for cashflow. You will spend time and efforts at first, but once you have established the system to run on its own, you will later just turn on the switch to make the whole system run automated while you enjoy other pursuits in life while your business grows.
