what happens if you've overdosed pain killers and yet the pain is not relieved?

I suppose it could be dangerous and or the painkillers don't effect anymore because of the immunity of the body. I agree with acupuncture but you should consult first with a certified practitioner of it.

Since you're taking celecoxib, I assume you have arthritic pain? (arthritis)
It is very dangerous to overdose on pain medications especially the one that you are taking. One of its many side effects affects your heart.
It also adds burden to your liver which metabolizes it, and your kidney which detoxifies your blood from it.
I suggest that you try non-pharmacologic ways alongside your meds. For example, you may soak or do warm compress to your aching leg, or apply some liniments on it to help relieve the pain.
And don't take the med when the pain is also excruciating. By that time, the pain overpowers the medication's effect, rendering it useless.
When you start to feel a tinge of pain, say from 1 to 10, your level of pain is already on 5, then you can pop a pill.

Sometimes the pain killer won't be effective at all when the body is immune to it. Just like taking tablet pain killers for tablets for headaches and toothaches.
