A Happy Life

It's hard to survive. You need a lot of things to live--food, clothing, house, car, education, etc.etc. The list is long, and sometimes unending. That's why many people never stop working. They want to satisfy all their needs. But the secret to a happy life is not to have all that you want--it's being satisfied with what you already have....
Be content. Be thankful. Always remember, you always have something that others are not blessed enough to have.

You are correct. Let's all be happy and contented with what we have now and think that we are more blessed than others. I felt too down before that i don't know where to run to, so broke and so lonely. I saw street children one time and they were looking something in the garbage can, i paused from my walked and waited to see what they were looking for and found out that they were looking for food for when they say a small piece of left over from that garbage they all went wild to who will be the one to eat it. I said to myself that i am more blessed than these kids and they never did stopped to find food even if that was really unhealthy but still they ate it for survival. There are really a lot of things that we have to thank the Lord for..

I agree with you on this. Contentment is always the key. If you never know contentment no matter if you are a billionaire you will never really be happy. Plus real happiness is not based on how much or how little you have but rather on the meaningful relationships you have cultivated over the years.

hi there hannah and welcome here!!
now a days life is really really hard.. not just for poor people but also for some family who's living well. some people might think that if they have a material things life would be good and contented. but i have lots of friends who came from a good family but still their life is not happy. im not from a rich family.. and i can say that we lack in many things specially now that my dad had stroke. i need to sell some of my things so i can pay my dad hospital bills an for his medicine. but if we are at home and look at my parents..my siblings,, then we laughed together i can say that im rich and my life is happy,,
happy my lotting to you hannah:D

That is correct.., if we are contented of what we have.., we don't have to desire for more., and there will be lesser disappointments and depression.., of course we have to work to survive but we don't have to work real hard and forget that money can't buy us happiness..=)

Enjoy is the thing I could ever said when it comes to a happy life. It is given that the life on earth is difficult and full of darkness. Well as long as you have faith and prayers, all hindrances will perish like bubbles.
