Do you agree that love really fades away?

Love fades away. No matter how strongly convicted you are to your feelings...when the one you love doesn't love you back...the love you feel will turn to anger. When anger reigns in your heart, you will be blinded. When you're already blinded, you'll never see it when that someone has already learned to love you the way you did.
Devoting all your love and effort to someone so precious to you without receiving some love, is so tiring. You shouldn't get tired of loving but it's reality. How could you something you don't have? No more love to give since you have already given it all.
How do you see this view? I actually don't know what truth there is in love.

hi, see its a relationship which can bind any individual. however, it again depends on the individual how he considers it. lets say, if you help a person who is desperate to get the help(could be any kind of) if that person realises the value of your help, he will never forget you. and the he will keep that relationship live for longer whether or not you are interested. may be sometimes due to the dearness or caring or some character of the person will make an individual fall in love but, its duty of other person also to take care in a similar kind. I would say, love stands forever when there is trust, respect, love, caring & sharing to one another.

hmmm...i see your point there. It is always a give and take situation. It always takes two to tango. There must be an exchange between partners so they would compliment each other. I just believe that love really fades away because I have been hurt so hard that I woke up one day, feeling nothing for my partner. We tried to work on it, but we ended up telling each other that "that's enough". It's better off to end the relationship before we lose respect to each other. At least we could save the "friendship" part. Thanks!

hey starlight_starbright! i believe that love stays in our hearts, even if we think it has turned into something else. we may long forget it years later, but a particular scent, or a picture or a music can easily bring back the once shared memories of being loved or loving someone from our past. it's just how it is, i think :)

Every love, every relationship...will always leave a mark. We could not erase the memories that we may reminisce every now and then. But we could not deny the truth that when love is gone, all that's left behind are just memories...

maybe it's not really fades away.. Sometimes it just lessen because someone didn't appreciate your love..
And the other stops showing their love because they are tired but deep in their heart they still love the person...

I do not believe love fades away it is us who allow the nurturing and caring to fade away whereas love no longer but a figment of the past.
