Have You Ever Wanted To Move Away and Start Again?

There are times when life gets so tough that I just want to move to a new place and start over. Not saying it would be better but hoping it would. I think life has a way of doing that to us. Job loss, deaths, sometimes I just want to go where no one knows me. Where you can be whoever you want with no history, lol. I'm a fighter though and I'll stay and tough it out but we can all dream. Have you ever felt this way? Have you ever done it?

Yes a number of times. Just want to leave everything and everyone that is near and dear to us and run away from everything. Sometimes I feel like going away to a jungle where there will be no one to please or hurt. But then life goes on and I find something that will again motivate me to go ahead and do the things that need to be done. Happy living!!!

Yes, ... I have this place in mind. There is plenty of gold in the river, The summers are hot and dry, with four seasons. There miles and miles of trees and a couple of lakes to fish. The locals are friendly and the nearest town is an hour and half away. For now, I will keep that place in mind and one day hope to be there. For now I will stick it out just to see what happens next for entertainment purposes I have moved away and started over from scratch a few times in life. Each time may have been tough starting out but proved to be decision for me. New friends, new surroundings, and a chance to start fresh often times is not a bad thing. The question is.. is none running from their troubles?... or .... Does one have the fortitude and spirit to take the unknown risks and start fresh.

Yes i we all dream of these things and people who don't are the lucky one and should always tahnk god for that. People say everything that happenes, happenes for a reason but there are times when i cannot see any reason and only pain. But we have to be strong and try doing good things for others. Life is a give and take, so the more we give the more we get so lets all sow peace so that we reap the same. Good luck and happy mylotting

Yep. I've dreamt about moving many a time. I'm single and have no children, so I guess it would be easier for me in some ways. But then there are the loved ones I'd leave behind ('specially my parents as they're getting old), the familiarity of my own surroundings, bills I'd have to clear up, and the fear of the unknown that I'd be going into if I moved. On the other hand, I wouldn't like to think that where I live now is where I'll spend the rest of my life.

Honestly, I wanted to move away and start again, if possible. The situation I'm in is pretty nerve-wracking that a clean slate will be very much welcome. Unfortunately, if I do that, it will be running away from my obligations and it will not be fair. So here I am, facing the consequences of my actions. Biting the bullet as it is. I just pray to God that all these sufferings will end as soon as possible.

Oh yes...Just recently I have thought about it often...just move away and start all over again...and get it right this time! Not sure it's really practical though, but I am rather hotheaded and impulsive so 'never say never' ;o)

I think I would like to go somewhere else. I have a place in my mind. It's somewhere around N. Carolina - in the mountian region. We've lived in Ct,NY,Fl,Ga,In. - Never the carolina's or north Ga. - that's always been the prayer. One day perhaps the Lord would be gracious and allow us that priviledge. Why N.C. - not too hot, not too cold...pretty, trees, mountians, beaches, relatively quiet, unrushed.....someday.

OH gosh YES!!! I have wanted to do this several times. I use to think that I wanted to move to Arkansas then it became Florida, now I do not quite know. It would be nice to move somewhere peaceful. I did move a few counties away from where I grew up and that seems to work out well!

I'm no difference fro you. There were times in the past that I thought of going away. Running from evrything and starting anew. New life, new friends, new history. It was like I want to kill myself (symbolically, speaking) and give birth to a new me where no history of th past can be traced nor be associated to me. Something like everybody seems to fell in the world of oblivion.LOL I guess I was so bored then.:)

Years ago I did-when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter-now 13..Things were falling apart-I was 18, single and pregnant. So I ran...as far as the money I had would take us. I wound up in GA broke, cold, and scared. I've thought about it again recently-but I'd want to plan this time around LOL I've been here 23 years (if you don't count that little diversion) I think I've grown roots!

Often we can get discouraged with the path that our life is taking. Leaving it all behind and beginning again somehwere else can look very inviting. It may be fine for a while. sooner or later, the reasons you left will face you again. Running away to find greener pastures isn't always the answer. Facing up to the challenge is.

I moved out to Idaho in 2004. I had met my husband online and came out to Idaho for what I thought was a two week vacation (my two week vacation turned out to be a permanant vacation and I have now been out here 6 years). It was love at first sight for the both of us. Both my parents and his mom knew that we were going to get married. We dated a year and a half and were engaged a year and half before we got married. I am so glad that I met my husband and my best friend. he is my rock and the greatest man in the world.

I often dreaming of moving to Florida, that is where my best friend lives with her family. If I only had me to think about I would have already moved. However my son loves his friends and his new school. My husband's job is here, so hard to just pick up and leave. When the winter comes in the state I live in, I lay down and dream of the Florida sunshine and think one day.
