It is fine for your health at any age. If it was not good for your health the good lord would not allow it to happen.

The average age for women to attain meno pause is 45, but there are exceptions. You are very young, 31 is very young. Many Celebrities have kids when they are 40!! So if you want a baby, go ahead, consult a doctor first of all for a routine checkup that you are not extra ordinary and then you with it. remember be very very frank with your doctor -this is very important! GOODLUCK..!

I believe you can get pregnant if you still have your menstrual period. Of course the more mature you are the harder it will be for you. Age 31 is still a young age. When I was 33 I had my last child.

Please don't feel worried. My colleague was 33 when she had her first baby. Now the science is developing, and the age is no longer a problem for a mom to get pregnant. You will have a nice and healthy baby, trust me. It's not a problem at all.

You can be pregnant until the edge of menopause, but I agree with one of the last posters: it's difficult beyond 35. The closer you are to menopause, the more erratic your hormonal levels are, and the greater the chance that you will have a hard time carrying your child. true, you can get pregnant even beyond 40, but you have to be aware that you are running certain risks as well. Good luck!

Women can conceive till they attain menopause. When my mother gave birth to me, my grand mother (my mothers mother) was 8 months pregnant. That time She was 46 years old. I have seen a pregnant muslim lady around 55 years old.

I'm going to have to agree with your last responder, some women are getting pregnant right up until their 60's although I think chemically enhanced. At 31 you are still quite young to concieve. Average age is around 45 before women hit the menopause so I'm told. Good luck

Medically speaking,it is possible to be pregnant till you are having your periods, limcy. My second daughter was born when I was 32 years old.Though it was not a planned one(as we wanted only one child),but I was thrilled to know that I was expecting again.Lol.I felt it was God's wish too.I have seen a couple of cases where women have had successful deliveries at the age of 42 and 43.

As long as you have not reach you menopausal stage, you can still conceive a baby, that is if your hormones has no defect. But at that age of 31 if it is your first baby, some says as what i had watched from televisions and some health programs, the chances of getting pregnant at early 30's are slightly lower than in your late 20's and the risk of miscarriage is slightly higher. AT the age of 35, decline of fertility rate accelerate and genetic abnormalities become more concern.

Last month a lady from Denmark aged 68 gave birth to a child. She had this possible because of test tube baby technology. Well its amazing, it really happened as in on record.
