with thoughts of the terrible events of 9/11 do you think that there were muslim people and their families at home and abroad that suffered the effected of losing their lives and family members in the air strikes and aboard planes. do you agree that newyork being such a melting pot of the human race working and living side by side that muslim people who are still suffering the loss of loved ones are being forgotten about/not mentioned as suffering victims because extremists from their faith have commited such crimes.

I am not a racist but i think that muslims should not be treated with equal respect. Everyone should be treated with the same respect they show other people individually. I don't think there is any one stereotype that should or should not be respected. But when a muslim representative doesn't respect a large mass of society it makes it very difficult for anyone to respect any muslim.

I see what you mean but I totally disagree with you!! Muslims are part of human being, so they have as every other human the right to be respected and appreciated by others.wa mustn't prejudge them. If one muslim commits a mistake or a crime it doesn't make all muslims criminals or bad people!!

Every victim and every family of a victim deserves our thoughts and prayers whatever theirreligion.
I feel so sorry for the millions of Muslims who are just normal people, being a Muslim does not make you a terorist and I wish that everybody would realise that!!

Hii gnomeland. In my opinion, the terrible events of 9/11 cause numerous of events after the aforesaid incident. Wars happened and both parties suffered much from those events. This events will be nailed into our hearts deeply that these things happened due to many factors and it's very much better to prevent them than cure. Although it's quite true that the Muslims are being forgotten somehow but not all will. There are still numerous people who think of them. Whether who is right or wrong out there. This should not be questioned at all cause both parties suffer damages and sufferings deeply and will always stay in their heart. It's just better to think about the future.

A report about the war in Irap and afghan showed that more than 4000 USA and Uk soldiers were killed, and numerous common people there were also killed or lost thier family members. All of them are all innocent and they should had a happy life with thier family.I really do not know why people start so many wars that take tremendous damage to human.Maybe all of us should reflect on ourselves.

I m also a Muslim, yesterday I watched US tennis cup final in which a player from my country names "AISAM UL HAQ" he said after his match that everyone here(USA)thinks Muslims to be a terrorist. Why here is such a thinking in our minds?,this is really true that after that accident Muslim are treating as a terrorist and Muslim countries as terrorist countries although many Muslim also lost their live in that accident.

Unfortunately there are some extremist groups in the Muslim religion that gives the netire religion a bad name. My personal experience with Muslim people in general are that they are actually peace loving, caring people.
It is truly a pity that the Muslim people who suffered during hte 9/11 attacks have been forgotten. It was an incident that shocked the entire worl to theie foundations.
May peace be on all of the people who lost loved ones during that terrible disaster.
