Or do you spend quality family time with no tv or radio to interfere. Sometimes we eat at the table, but lots of times, we eat in front of the tv.

We do both. More often, we eat together at the table but there are occasions where we might get fast food and a movie and sit in the living room to eat and watch together.

My family usually sits and watches tv together while we eat; we make it kind of a family discussion about what is going on.

It really depends what is on. My kids are grown now, and most of the time it is just my boyfriend and I that are eating. My son stays with us, but is usually at work. We don't use the table for eating, except at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We eat in the living room in front of the television. Sometimes we will watch a movie, other times, just whatever is on that catches our eye. Often we watch PBS, public broadcasting television, which has a wide range of educational programs.

We do both. I try to make time for us as a family, no tv, talking, interacting. But some days it is hard to do. We just are to tired.
