The power of prayer!!

G-d never forsakes us. It might appear so but everything is done for the greater good and not everything we ask for is granted since not everything is in our own best interests. Like someone said, G-d hears our prayers but sometimes the answer is no. I have no doubt in mind mind how great G-d is and kind etc and accept the reality that I will get everything I need to accomplish my mission on Earth and be the best I can be. Before I pray and request something I accept something upon myself such as working on a certain trait, be it anger or such and making sure I have more control over it in return for me asking for something to happen etc. Have a great day!

All my prayers are answered only you should obey God's commandments and his will and don't do bad things even thinking bad things.

Well, some people who don't believe in God say that this is due to the power of believe and self-confidence. I believe in God and I can say that my prayers are also heard. That was during the major exam I had to take. I prayed and prayed every single day, even up till now. That time it was a crucial period so I asked for some guidance from my home's Goddess. I'm a buddhist, by the way. She really did helped me a lot.

I too believe in the power of prayer. Just this June, my dad went into an operation and we really thought he can never recover from that. He is diabetic and the healing process for diabetics is too long..we really thought it will take months and complications will arise. We really prayed for him to recovery soon and that he can still continue with his daily activities after all these things. Fortunately, in a few weeks time, my dad's stitches were healed and with no complications. We were so blessed to have his health back and his strength as well. My dad was never really so religious before his operation, but right now he wants to read the bible and is joining couples for Christ with my mom and not to mention he has left all his vices after it. Thank you LORD!!

Prayer is very powerful. I can not imagine life without prayer. Prayer is part of my life and it must be part of everyone's life. in my experience, i almost die because of an accident but because of my love ones prayer, i am here without any signs of injury or damage. Thanks GOD

with pray to God, we will received best way although we are unhappy at first. so we had to pray to God anytime.

Prayer is so powerful. God is hearing and answering our prayers always we need to manifest it to natural through our faith. The bible says in Mark 11:24 ...whatever we ask for in prayer, believe that you have receive it, and it will be yours. My fresh answered prayer is God answered my prayers about my on the job training in school. My school gave me a favor to credit my days in my work even im not already apply as a ojt in my company. God is so great. Thank you Lord!

maybe it's one of these things i need these days. probably not just prayer but going to church as well. i don't know when i became lazy and stop praying but it just happened. I never expected an answer from my prayers, but you know it's nice that we get to talked to some one we believed to be powerful. I know it's not too late. but of course, these are one of the trials that i am facing right now. thank you for this discussion.

Hi Chiyosan!. I have face up and down in my life too. My intimacy with God threw prayer help me a lot in my sad and darker moment, I help me to realize there is a hope and I am not alone. And In time I realize God help solve the problem and make my day more brighter.

Hello there! I am a real believer of how good our God was. I always communicate with Him thru prayers, and every time im in a bad situation or even im happy and contented, I always whispered my prayers to Him. For me, nothing can ever replaced the goodness of God, He's always there ready to hear us all with all our concerns and im glad that He's like that. Every morning and every night, I always pray to Him, ask for His guidance and endless blessings. Whatever I feel, I always communicate it to Him, I know that He loves me and He's always listening to me because I could feel it. All my prayers, I considered as answered prayer already, though some of them never happened, its still an answered prayer for me because maybe He likes me to wait for it to happen in His time or maybe it should never takes place really because that would create bad effect on me and my loved ones. I considered Him as my pilot, He could lead me to whatever He wanted and I gave my full trust on Him come what may. Good night and God bless you more!

God has been faithful to me. He answers my prayers with specific instructions, God is good!

Honest speaking I do not believe in the power of prayer.When one has no problems prayers will save him and own actions.All about the psyche of every man for himself to decide waht to believe and what not

Hi Friend, Yeah even my self has very big TRUST in PRAYER, even from my study, my mother sickness, my father work and even to our financial crisis i can say that our SECRET WEAPON is PRAYER, I can say that i still in my college now, we able to eat 3 times a day... i cant explain all how PRAYER help us to be strong. Even in my studies i use PRAYER for all the times, when i have my project depend, and even when i use to recite in front i still pray... I encourage people to PRAY and BELIEVE,
