When i was in high school, I have this dream that seems like a movie series. It makes me wonder coz there is a continuation in a week or in a month. I don't dream of it every night. It will just visit me once a week or twice a month but as I have said, there is a continuation. It is about me and my "dream-partner". The first time I dream about it was "we met in his clinic" and then end after a month I dream again that we went on a date and then end after a week again, we were on the church taking pictures with our entourage then end again the last time I dream of it was we were in a bedroom lying in bed playing with our baby that he put in his stomach. Whenever I'm in that dream, i can see his face clearly and I feel so happy and complete. But when I woke up, I forgot how he looks like.
Mylotters what do u think of that? What wonders me is that is has a continuation. Can you tell me your opinion regarding this?

I experienced dreams like that. I dreamed and the dream continued after some times but I never have dreamed a long story like your.
Some told me that a dream is something that reflect our wish and heart. It's common that we forgot the faces in our dreams though we remember what the dreams told us.
A dream reflects our psychological as well so you need to look inside yourself.

I haven't dream of it again after the last dream i have which we were in our bedroom with our baby. Maybe because I always wanted to have my own family. Since it is from our subconscious, it just pop up whenever I'm resting. maybe that's just it. but i hope it will come true.. LOL!!!
Thanks for sharing Yheart!!God Bless!!

This happens to me very often. I sometimes have several going at the same time. I will have a dream, and in the weeks after have different dreams, but then one night I get a "sequel" to the dream I had a few weeks prior, so I have a few running dreams like t.v. shows on different stations. It gets to be that you wonder if maybe the dreams are real and "waking life" is the real dream? It can be spooky, sometimes.
Many times these dreams are about my fiance. He and I had troubles before our daughter was born, and at night I live out my terror that he will leave, and I will not be able to get ahold of him. It's like my dreams live out the alternate life I would have had if he didn't shape up and kept treating me like he did before.
Some people have very creative dreams, with detailed storylines. I say, be glad your dream storylines are happy, and not miserable like mine!

Don't worry dreams are just a an output of our imagination sometimes.. we may not notice it but it is actually our fears or desires that wasn't been "discovered"..
its up to us if we want that dream to happen.. still we are the ones who control our lives not our dreams...
thank you for sharing your thought!! i appreciate it..:-)

I've search all over the internet if there is such thing as a continuing dreams. But i cant seem to find any that would fit yours. Anyway i read this one before and even me got the same type of this dream but with variations.
Recurring Dreams: Most dreams contain messages that server to teach you something about yourself. However, soon after you wake up to go about your daily routine, you tend to quickly forget what you dream about. The message in recurring dreams may be so important and/or powerful that it refuses to go away.
The frequent repetition of such dreams forces you to pay attention and confront the dream. It is desperately trying to tell you something. Such dreams are often nightmarish or frightening in their content, which is also helps you to take notice and pay attention to them.
Recurring dreams are quite common and are often triggered by a certain life situation, transitional phase in life or a problem that keeps coming back again and again. These dreams may recur daily, once a week, or once a month even once a year :)
Whatever the frequency, there is little variation in the dream content itself. Such dreams may be highlighting a personal weakness, fear, or your inability to cope with something in your life- past or present.
The repetitive patterns in your dream reveal some of the most valuable information about yourself. It may point to a conflict, situation or matter in your waking life that remains unresolved or unsettled. Some urgent underlying message in your unconscious is demanding to be understood.
hmmmm! i was thinking that this continuing dreams of yours have something to do with your present situations. In your present love life maybe. Just take a look in yourself closely. Identify those vital points that you could relate to your dream. Your fears, hopes and your longings in life.

I also had such dreams and I was actually roaming at a place in my dreams. That might be due to the reason that I like travelling and visiting new places.
I also had those dreams with interval of few days, sometimes weeks and sometimes even months.
I think it actually happens if we think about a thing a lot!

That's just so amazing! I did not know dreams can carry on and on making it like a movie or even a love story like yours. U must be one of the very few people around to have such exclusive priviledge. It's almost like a second life for u. With that happening, does it make u look forward to more sleeping? Are u addicted to it whereby u just don't want to wake up?
Share more with us because it's really interesting to hear this happening if it's REAL. By the way, are u attached too? Did u tell your spouse or family about this dream of yours?

Hi Sanitary..Well honestly before, i wanted it to happen but then I realize that ok, it's just a dream a product of my subconscious, it wont happen. From then on I tried not to think about it anymore. Coz there was also a time that me and my friends went to a palm reader and I told the old lady about it she told me to ignore it coz its just a dream, so i did.
By the way, I'm not yet married but I haven't told my boyfriend about it yet. I forgot to do so. I only remember this when i browse about dreams here in mylot. But thank you for the idea, I'll tell him when he visits me.

Dreams have meaning...
Most of the time they don't have original meaning, they only have reflective meaning. In other words, dreams dot tell you what you should be thinking about, they tell you what you HAVE been thinking about. You have the message for your dream it doesn't have a (original) message for you, it may has reflection of your thoughts. It is thus very likely to have repeated dreams about the same thing if you keep thinking about this thing...
