How do/did you stretch your allowance?

Before when i was still a grade school student i remember stretching my allowance just for the sake of buying my favorite snack by next week. I try not to take my snacks for a particular day just to keep a few of my allowance. When i went to high school, i still do the same thing. I don't buy things that i really don't need, I don't buy minutes for my phone, nor will i go out with friends for no particular reasons at all, i even eat cheaper snacks or ask friends to give me some of their snacks so that i won't be able to use my allowance. I do all the stretching as much as possible because i wanted to be independent at an early age. I pay for some of the school bills..not the tuition fee of course that's too high already..i use my money to pay for my extra curricular activities and things i need to buy for my organization. How about you, do ever stretch your allowances before? Have you ever tried stretching it? and for what particular reasons?

Not buying snacks and eating a lot during meals is a good way to stretch your allowance. But its difficult when you are at school and studying and your stomach is empty. When I studied, I walked for me to be able to stretch my allowance. It was also good exercise.

I don't like to waste my money, I just pay my money for the resonable things, the things I really need, not the things I really want.
I manage my money very carefully, and I hope I can get more and earn more from my job and from Internet.
Wish you can belance your money in the suittable way.

I tried stretching my allowance when I was already in college. When I was in grade school and high school, my parents would never give me money so I never tried stretching at an early age. It is very hard for me. I have to budget my allowance for a period of time. And at the same time, I have to save money to buy the things I needed.

i am not really great in handling my allowance..... i buy what i want as long as i have my money on my hand..... i guess i was so dependent with it comes to that thing... i always asked money from my parents.... untill i realize now that i have to make my own. and its not that easy...... now.... am starting stretching what i have... weeeowwhhhh...... its kinda hard at first......... :)
