A lot of people are already buying stuffs for their loved ones for the coming Christmas season. Lol. I didn't even have a list yet. Last Saturday, I went to the mall and bought myself a shirt. For some reasons, I don't have nice clothes to wear anymore. I think I'm gonna wait for my birthday to pass and then Halloween to pass before I make my list and start buying gifts for Christmas. What did you buy lately?

Hi friend,
I don´t buy gifts for Christmas. I make jams to give out to my loved ones or other kind of good thing to at that can be kept for a while.
I´m spending some money lately in lumber for my raised beds. I hope to have an awesome vegetable garden this coming Summer. Probably I will make baskets of produce for my children too this coming Christmas.

Hi friend,
I even have two potted potato plants. But that is too much.
You can raise a lot of veggies in pots. I prefer to have my herbs in pots as they are cleaner and snails can´t reach them. But I have has success with tomatos, swet and hot pepper and arugule and other members of the lettuce family. Other plants that need little space are bunch onions and chives. And last season I planted in pots all the garlic cloves that were growing. I am now using the upper green part of them and it´s delicious. You can even mince a bit in an omelette for the green touch
Happy posting!

Hi! You do? Haha... So, I'll just buy seeds right and just plant away. Do I need to buy fertilizers as well? I want to plant tomatoes, hot pepper, calamansi, and some herbs. Mmm, garlic and onions too. Thank you, you inspire me to plant.

Hi! Wow, I think that's great that you make jams. That's the kind of gift that comes from the heart.
Oh, you have a vegetable garden? Please tell me more about it. I've been planning and planning to grow vegetables from pots. (Since I don't have a garden) I think it's possible though and I really want to start planting soon. Is it easy to grow? Are they easy to take care of? Let me know. Thanks a lot!

I found some really good clearance sales this summer. I have already bought my child most of her christmas presents. She is getting a doll with a diaper bag and other accessories. She is getting a sit and spin. She is also getting duplo blocks. I bought some 24 month winter clothes at the end of last winter, so she will get some of those as well.
I have not even thought about the rest of my family. I guess it will have to depend on who I get in the drawings.

I have been buying a few gift items too. There is a possibility that I have to travel abroad on a business trip, and I will be meeting many of my business colleagues there. So, when I meet them I would like to give them some nice gifts from my country. They will appreciate that very much I know.

Now that this discussion is 12 months old christmas that year has passed and it is almost christmas again. I never did much shopping for christmas last year. I live far away from my family and I drive out to spend christmas with them, it's a 13 hour drive if the roads are good, and I give my nephews and nieces money because I don't see them much and I don't know what they are into so when I give them money they can buy what they really want.
In my family we only give to the kids that are under 18 years old because there are just too many of us. So once they turn 18, no more gifts. So I only have 4 left that are under 18 this year. So I give them each $25. Then I have only one daughter, she lives with me and is 28 years old, so I buy her something as I know her tastes. I have one son that lives far away and he is married and has my one and only granddaughter who will be 2 in November. I buy them gifts, not money.
And then my mom. I buy her a gift also, no money. So I don't have much shopping to do and most of it I do around November. I buy things for my granddaughter all year round so christmas isn't anything different. I travel quite a bit so I buy things on my travels with the name of the city somewhere on it so she has them forever.
Cheers and have a good day my friend,
Chris

I haven't bought much of anything lately. The only things I've really bought is groceries, gas, and necessities for the house (cleaners, cat litter ect). We don't have the money to spend at all anymore we are just getting by if that. I dread the holidays I dread the utility bills.... we are in just a bad bad spot for things right now.

For myself, I haven't bought anything in quite some time. However, I have been buying Christmas and birthday gifts for a few months now (as funny as it may sound). I bought a really nice slot car set for my husband, a Geo Trax set and a Smart Cycle for my son and a few little things for my daughter. In addition, I've bought a lot of new clothes that I'll be giving to my children for their upcoming birthdays.

I'm not buying yet; I'm waiting for my husband's 13th month pay as I'm jobless now. Actually I wanted to buy some hardware stuff for some home improvement and this means I will not buy gifts. Maybe my daughter will do it for me. Sad to say money is so scarce especially I have no job.
