What should I do to attract more people discussion in my topic?

Hi luukimlong, So you are new to mylot :) I think your last sentence would be the most important tip anyone can give you---reply to all responses to your topics. In that way it encourages others to interact with you and you will make earnings for it too. Secondly you might want to make more friends, so when you start a topic, they are more likely to notice your topics and respond to them. Last but not least, the quality of your post is also a contributing factor. When you start a topic, make sure you describe the background well and write clearly about what you want to ask. Also questions which are open-ended will encourage more responses as there is more room for discussion. Hope I can provide you with some ideas here.

There is no strategies I think because it depend on the content of your topics. If someone being interested on it...they share their ideas and you get response. Think on what people interested to know and be polite and friendly in responding discussion. Be specific on the articles you posted and write like how you talk your friends or neighbor... Add more friends, so that they first catch up your topics and if interesting or not to them they response you because they are your online friend. What you need to do is to make more friend in mylot and respond to topics, you can choose the topic from any interest that you like. You can also add the interest that you want it to appear in your profile so that you do not need keep searching for them. This is not really a tip but it is just simple in few steps 1. Make friend 2. Add more interest 3. Respond to discussion 4. Post a attractive topic with attractive title Enjoy being part of mylot!

I don't use any kind of strategies in making sure that a lot will make comments on them.., whatever topic pops into my head.., I'll make a discussion on that.., I'd be lucky if there are people who shares the interest of a certain topic I started..=)

There are many ways to attract more people to discuss in your topic. As my way, there are 5 main tips to get better result: 1) You should give invitations to participate in well laid out and easy to use discussion systems are good for helping them participate 2) I find that when I include questions in my headings discussions that it is a particularly effective way of getting a response from readers as you set a question in their mind from the first moments of your post 3) If you don’t want to purposely leave too many things unsaid there is an art to writing open ended posts that leaves for your readers to be experts also 4) You should interact with them. This gets harder as your topic grows but it’s particularly important in the early days of your topic as it shows your readers that their responses are valued 5) Keep your discussion section as simple and as easy to use as possible. Yes luuki, to attract more people towards your discussions, make your discussions from interesting topics with common subjects. Also, make a good number of myLot friends and regularly message them! Increase your myLot referrals and guide them to work regularly! I hope this much care will make your discussions well responding by many mylotters! I often create discussions based on my own experiences, that way the discussions get more unique. I try to ask open questions instead of questions that can be answered with a yes or a no. I like to create questions that many people can relate to instead of questions about a very specific topic or a specific country. It is also a very good idea to comment on people's responses like you already do. Most people like comments and they will be more likely to respond to your discussions another time if you comment on the responses. It is also a way to keep the discussion going and find new friends.

If your a parent talk about that... omg the moms on this site are great at responding... Kudos to all those moms... and anything controversial... if you can get people going they will respond and hey even if you don't like their responses then you can respond back constructively and they will... Also all that responding means money... I also have a great thing I do anything that's really deep that I get asked in class life ex-cetera I write down... I'm in the process of getting all the things I jot down into posts... What not to do! Attack your responders point of view, and post about simple things unless theres a big divide. Like I might post about dunkin donuts vs starbucks but not milk vs. cream in my coffee... just an example...

I don't have any strategies, i just write whatever i feel like writing with all my knowledge to that particular topic. I know it's hard but we can all try to make discussions that many will participate or comment.

Well, it's difficult to guess what topic will more people be interested in. Mylot is full of religious fanatics, so you can just open a topic about religion and you will have dozens of responses. If you prefer not to use the easy way, just try to think well and write about something you know well about so people can find interesting the way you talk about it

Hi luukimlong2000 , There is no strategy or planning involved in starting a discussion. Whenever you feel strongly about something, simply draft it in the form of a discussion! It is however, important that you feel strongly about whatever you are posting. There will be an unseen power in your spontaneous feelings that makes other mylotees react to your discussion. I think if you started discussions of any different topics then you will gain more response.. and if you concentrate on your quality of postings then you may get more response for your discussions.. and also your rating will increase..
