Which would you choose, Looks or Intelligence?

I'd definitely choose intelligence. Hands down. When you're good looking you make yourself ugly by not being smart. When you're intelligent and not so good looking you have the smarts to figure out now to make yourself good. Intelligence help us to live happier life.

I prefer intelligence.. (good) looks fade and is only skin deep. An intelligent person can look so charming. Intelligence is also something that can't be stolen, being intelligent can surely make your dreams come true!

I think I would probably go for intelligence! I think that virtually everyone wants to be intelligent. Good looks are nice also and an added bonus I guess! Now that I think about it good looks may be equally as important. I think it's nice to look at nice looking people! They turn your head for about five seconds or so whilst you take a glance and it just helps to waste a few seconds of your time! There are probably some people in this world that really don't have the looks and yet they have intelligence! Because they don't have the looks they probably remained trapped in their homes and they devote their time to alternative pursuits like constant study and this is what makes someone intelligent I think. I prefer to intelligence.. because if you have intelligence then everybody respects you.. and if you have only looks. then very fewer peoples who want to give respect you.. I think only looks is not everything.. and if you have both things..looks with intelligence.. then it is a great opportunity for you to find anything good.. and also many peoples becomes attracted to you..

I would also choose intelligence, because frankly... looks fade with time and age, while intelligence doesn't go away even if you get older. So the choice is pretty easy for me at least!

Can I just answer "both"? I can't pick only one because I'll be a hypocrite if I pick intelligence without the looks. He he. But first on the list is intelligence and the looks come secondary or as an added bonus. I just can't have somebody who is charming and handsome but boring because he's not intelligent and can't hold a good conversation. On the other hand if he is intelligent but have the face of a bulldog, well, I just can't take it. I'll be better off alone. Sorry but I like to have both characteristics. :)

well, I would choose little bit of everything, looks, intelligent and money. Shortage of any of these surely makes life a misery. I can't be happy if I have all the intelligence and live a poor life. It has to be balance to live a successful and happy life.

today's world is based on appearance they dont give importance to anything then looks but i should say u did the right choice intellegence is much more better than looks.

I wish everyone could have both. But the reality is there are only but chosen few who are endowed with both. Nevertheless,to those who do not have both and would be given a choice between the two, then probably it would be quite hard to choose for both qualities are essential to humans. What is intelligence if you look like a monkey and what is beauty if you are so dump and could not even solve a simple problem? Beauty can buy brains and brains can't buy beauty. I really don't know which one would I choose.

I am thanking God because I am blind, so the only option I have is "intelligence!" But don't get me wrong! It's still nice if I have a good looking partner! But honestly, I prefer intelligence because it will stay longer compared to good loking face. Plus, intelligence can help solve and find many things in order to survive in life. Besides, if my partner is intelligent, she could "make up" things so that she could at least look tidy and good!

hello asxenon! i would prefer to have intelligence, for as they say, people are intelligent can be sexy and attractive if they chose to be, if they want to be. with the technology that we have today, it is possible to alter one's appearance through science and money. However, there has no discovery yet as to the alteration of one's intelligence. In the long run, beauty fades while intelligence will still be there, long after beauty fades.

I have to say that your choice are very right,and you have a good future vision.I mean we will become older ,and the look now we have taken on will change .we will maybe become ugly when we are more older .insteadly, that is very wise if you choose the inteligence .cos the charmer you will be ,the more you accumulate the knowledge. knowledge can make people become clever than before ,and it will become more clever with the time gone .so I also chosse the inteligence if I could have the right of choice. god bless you!

i choose looks compare to intelligence. if you have a looks it lessen the insecurity and boost the self confident.even you are not intelligence it doesn't mean that you know nothing.

For me,I will choose intelligence rather than good looks.Having an intelligence is an important.What if do you have the beauty, but don't have knowledge....?so it may take for granted.It's better to have an intelligence rather than the good looks.

Well, it is always the looks that comes first, right? You would notice someone by his looks, from then on, you will finally discover if she has the intelligence. It is usually happens that, some people easily attracted and fall for someone by his looks, but finding him/her senseless, that would be a turn off. And contrary to this, if you have been befriended with someone let say not so good looking but she/he has the wit, you will just find youself enjoying with your discussions and soon fall for her because she's intelligent. So probably, looks is just a doorway to know someone and discover his intelligence. And I had experience both and found out that it is intelligence that counts. This is just my opinion. But exemption does exist, as always, in some cases. Happy mylotting.

I would choose to be intelligent. Why? Because when you are intelligent, you can already discover how to make creams or solutions, machines to become pretty. You can sell those products and you will be filthy rich after. I do not think having a pretty face can make you intelligent.

Having both is a very good one but since I have to choose between the two then I'd rather choose a guy who is intelligent rather than having the looks. Looks for me will fade when we grow old but intelligence will always be there. It's nice to have someone whom you can talk too with full of sense.

If they will let me choose if which is better looks or intelligence, I will choose intelligence because if your a intelligent person it can help you to become a millionaire and help your family and not just your family but poor people too.

if i can't have both then i'll choose to be intelligent. good looks can fade but if you are intelligent you're bound to success. and when you're successful you can always look good. being neat and presentable doesn't require a beautiful face. you just got to have character.

Hy asxenon. I also choose the intelligence. In my opinion it is charming and for example many times I was in love of intelligent men which were not looking so good. But I was never impressed by a good looking man which was stupid. I consider intelligence sexy and much more important than the aspect.
