Hi friends! I am a certified chocoholic and it all started when I was still a little girl. My mother was working abroad before and she always send me lots of chocolate! I could still remember the day when I first tasted chocolate, it was my 3rd birthday and I had a chocolate cake for my birthday party. When I first tasted chocolate, my mom said that I giggled too much, and when I take a small bite of the chocolate cake, I giggled again but it was even louder! And so they knew how the chocolate can cheer me up.
Now that I am older, I became a chocoholic for I can't resist the tempting lusciousness of chocolates. When I saw a chocolate I am very eager to buy one or I will really force my mom to buy me one also. Whenever I'm feeling down, I'll just have a chocolate bar and everything will be fine! And when someone hurts me, make me angry and make me cry, all they have to do is say and prove to me that their sorry and give me any kind of chocolate. How about you? Are you a chocoholic? Share your crazy moments in being a chocoholic! Thanks by the way for sharing! God Bless!!!

I am a self-confessed chocolate and coffee addict. Chocolate contains "theobromine" which have similar effects to caffeine in coffee but is has a lesser impact than caffeine that is why chocolate is a mood booster food. It helps lift your mood but always remember that too much of everything is dangerous. So the key is always to eat chocolate in moderation.

I too am a chocoholic! If it's not chocolate -- it's a waste of calories! When I was a tot the doctor advised my mum not to give chocolate to any of her children until they were at least 5. Don't know why he told her that, probably some old wives tale -- anyway I can still remember my first taste of it. Absolutely heavenly. I haven't stopped enjoying it since. Dark chocolate is my favorite, but I love it all!

Hi. SJandogA. Wow! Girl you got it bad! I am not a chocoholic at all! I will never let myself crave and yearn for chocolate that much. If I eat too much I will feel sick and I may break out into pimples. I love chocolate just don't get me wrong, but I am not desperate for chocolate like that.

i think i consider myself to be a chocoholic.. or maybe i think that i used to.. i usually ate chocolates everyday with after every big meal.. and the amount i took usually came in huge portions... and of course, everytime i finished, i would always have this urge to buy another.. however, lately i come to aware about how we need to take our sugar intake.. even my counselor said that chocolates can become as addictive as people who smoke.. so, i restraint myself as hard as i could not to overtake the chocolates.. it was hard at first but i am slowly managing..

hi sherou! like you, I also consider myself a chocoholic person. It is my best friend whenever I feel down and blue. I started to love chocolates since I was younger. My mom is working abroad, so she use to sent us box of various chocolates such as cadburry, tobleron and more others. My parents will always remind me to control my eating habit when it comes to chocolates because I eat too much of it and I can't resist to halt right away. In fact, it gives me much energy and it comforts me all the time. It is my routine to eat chocolate during exams, I don't know why but everytime I do this, I can remember all the things that I studied. I can't live without chocolates :)

I will admit that I am addicted to chocolate! I do crave it's luscious sweetness often. I enjoy eating it as often as I can. My favorite cake is chocolate with chocolate icing! I do limit myself on my pleasures though. Chocolate is wonderful and can counteract glum feelings but if I allowed myself I would over indulge in its sweet goodness!

Hi SJandogA,
You've received responses only for chocoholic people. Would you accept a response for someone who don't like chocolate?
Yes, even if it sounds unbelievable, there are people who don't like chocolate. And I'm one of them.
I have never liked sweets, though my mother was a great cook. She used to bake sophisticated cakes every Sunday, but I didn't eat a bit. The same with chocolate. My brother was so happy when I received a chocolate, because he knew that I don't like it and I was going to give it to him.

Yes me too I love chocolates. I believe I have a "sweet tooth". I just can't help to eat chocolates but of course I do it in moderation to stay healthy. I am really fascinated with anything sweet like desserts such as ice cream and of course chocolates. I am not a cake lover though but I would eat a cake with the dominion of chocolates. I frequently remind my parents to buy me some chocolates even if I'm already in college now.

I love chocolates too! I usually have a serving of chocolate (or at least something sweet) everyday. I love chocolates so much because they taste great and makes me feel good. It actually is a fact, because when we eat chocolate, we release endorphins or the "feel good" hormone. Aside from making us feel good, they're also natural pain relievers. I wouldn't want to eat too much chocolates though because we have a family history of Diabetes. I would still eat chocolates but maybe cut down the portions and eat them not too often.
I like the chocolate spreads available in the market. Instead of putting them on bread, I just eat them right away with a spoon.

I am definitely a world class chocoholic. A day without choclate for me is like a dsy with no air. It is a craving that i just can't deny. i will take the chocolate in any form but my favorite is a chocolate or chocolate ice cream. the two together are even better!

Hi,SJandogA!
I like chocolates,too.And I definitely can't resist it when it's in front of me.But I won't see myself as chocoholic.I love chocolates,that's all.
It's very funny that when you are upset, any tasty chocolate will just solve the problem, hehe.Seems that you're very easy-going.I'm not sure that I'll just forgive someone because they give me chocolates, hehe.
Have a nice day!

I like eating choclates all the time and think that they are realy a tasty treat. For the most part I eat choclates during a special occassion like a birthday or halloween or christmas.Choclate is highly addictive though and it is easy to get carried away and eat to much and put on a lot of weight.I find that eating a set amount at a time helps you not over indulge as choclate is just so good an if I could would eat pounds of it at a time.

Nope, but I used to be. I used to eat way too much chocolate, until I discovered it gave me headaches. So I stopped eating it, and since then my headaches have not occurred as often. Now I just eat chocolate every once in a while.
