I think the best thing you can do with that is to allow it to dry upside down! Allow the water to drain from it and hopefully things should be alright. If it doesn't work however then it may be a case of just replacing the keyboard! You might get some advice about perhaps getting a free quote on how much it will cost you to have the laptop repaired.
Do you have warranty on the laptop? If you do then you won't have any major problems. Anyway, good luck. Andrew

follow below tips else your mother board will be shorted:
1)take out battery;
2)take out charger;
3)try not to use it for 2 days (not even trying to press switch on button;
4)clean water from laptop away from the keyboard
5) keep your laptop on TV or Monitor as it will take heat from it and it will dry up the water
6)dont use hair drier as it may damage it.
7) keep it for 1-2 hrs in sun
It will surely work

take it to serve center, this is the problem of hardware and not software. for hardware problem you need an expect, if you do any thing wrong and screw the situation you need to buy a new one.
it will be wise to take to serve center. until i know they won't charge you any thing until there is replacement of certain parts.

When electronics get wet you should immediately turn it off and remove the batteries (if it has any). Then open the gadget or equipment and let it dry off. Make sure that everything is dried off. Use a hair blower on the circuit board. Try to turn it on after everything is totally dry. If it wont turn on, then your battery may be busted try to connect directly without the batteries. If it won't still turn on then the board must be busted. Good luck!

I think you should just let it be and set it by the window. I don't think you should leave it where the sun's rays are strong. I don't think you shouldn't leave the laptop outside to dry because it always says in battery labels such as double A duracell to never leave batteries in direct sunlight. However, I think that the best option for you to do is to go to a computer shop and ask them what to do.
