fry_guy What you need to do to make it work like a blog is create articles and make each post publish to front page. You can also tag them. It already works like blog and you can also use free blog themes that are available on drupal.org

fry_guy i think you better take care of your PC. Have latest hardware, use some more higher rams to increase speed, use two to three anti-virus i say- avast, avira and avg they have free edition download and install. use search and destroy software to kill malwares...
