I have heard some really good things about neobux and Im sure that they pay. However I will never use this site again. They have sold/given my email address away to a male organ inlargement company, if you know what I mean. I know this because the day that I signed up with them I had to give them a email address (which is a spam email address) and also my paypal email address(the one I dont give out to avoid spam). Well They made me not only verfy that the regular email address was correct but also my paypal email address.
They are now spamming both accounts!!!!
I hate this company and will not use them ever in the future. What do you guys think about this? Its one thing to spam the email I gave them(which is expected) but the paypal email, thats obsured!

How are you sure that whoever spamming your email add is coming from neobux? There so much spammers out there but we have nothing can do with it in a fact that we cannot trace which resoure they got our info. And we cannot even remember where from the program initiated specially if we had joined so much programs, unless you have joined to only one program, that case can be determine apparently.

Hi Maybe It is a coincidence, because it is clearly stated on the TOS that they are preventing every information from us confidential. We know that there are many hackers in this world so it is not possible your email add be spam. And also, I don't believe that your paypal account had been spammed, because paypal used a very strong security (https).

How are you so sure of this? neobux, yes it indeed pays, what bothers me though is that I did not receive any spam emails from them, neither have other members. What I'm saying is that maybe you gave away the information yourself when you tried to sign-up for other sites. I'm not ruling out the possibility that you're correct. I'm just saying that maybe it was coincidence or something. We cannot just judge based on one incident alone. you have been the first that I've seen to complain about this and the thousands of good reviews I've seen about neobux is just too overwhelming to rule out. You can write a support ticket to neobux maybe you've been a victim of spyware and phishing from other websites which use your cookies for information so try clearing your cookies often and check for spyware and viruses on your computer :D

Pandapig8,
First off this was the only site that I have signed up for in the last month. Secondly I had just cleared my cookies. Thirdly a virus on my computer is not going to send me emails!
If you want to continue using the site thats your choice. However I know for sure that neobux is responsible for the spamming of my emails.

I get a lot of spam emails. That is why I set up a free account with peoplestring for email with a generic address. I get paid a small percentage to use that account so that is my main account. As far as I know neobux has not sold my information. I have been getting some telemarketing calls but I figured that they were due to the sidetick requirement for surveys and didn't bother answering them because I won't waste my cell phone minutes on telemarketing calls. Neobux says they don't sell your info. but sometimes there are rogue individuals at any site.

Well, if it is true that Neobux actually sold your infomration, it is very very bad. I never thought that such a popular and reputed site like Neobux would do so. However, it might be possible that someone else just got your information and started spamming.

well even if this information worries me i have found that spam emails are here to stay even if you dont use your email for anything. i have a email account for just having an email account and havent join any other sites with the email and i am still getting spam mails with it.

I know it has already been asked, but can you be so sure that it has been Neobux` fault? I have been receiving male organ enlargement spam mail since way before signing up with them -I lack one of those, by the way -, but I just set those emails to my spam folder, and then I don`t need to care about them.
In case it was really Neobux, I`m very sorry to hear what happened. I hope you can filter those spam emails, as they can be very annoying.

Whoa.. this is the first time i heard of it about neobux selling/disclosing information to 3rd party. My email has not beens spammed so far and I will agree to the other that you should create email for different purposes. Although, you just have to keep track on all of them. But if it's the way the only to protect your identity then it will be worth it

Well, unfortunately most email accounts that you provide for any online opportunity will 9 times out of ten be spammed. Thats simply the nature of the beast in this industry. You can avoid this very simply. The email address I have associated with my paypal account is soley for that and I never use it for anything else. The email I sign up for any new online venture is also just that. It was created for that purpose and that purpose alone. Now I have personal email options seperate that I never give out to any company online and yep, no spam :) Just a thought. You can get a variey of email addresses for free from so many different sites, its definitely worth getting a few.
