terrorist are freedom fighters or devils?

A terrorist is anybody who considers that other people should die for their beliefs or political and financial interests. In any war in recent times, more civilians have been killed than the military, guerrillas, etc. The poor invariably suffer the worst, and the longest.Cambodia hasn't really recovered from the Khmer Rouge, 35 years later. It's all done in the name of ideology, religious or political, and more often than not with big money behind it. "Freedom fighters"? How do you free people by maiming them and destroying their countries? Isn't there enough misery on Earth without these people? We're now heading towards 3 generations of Afghan people who've never known peace. What sort of freedom is that? It wasn't their idea. It was the Soviets, the jihadis, the Taliban, Al Qaeda, the Pakistani ISI, and a few other adorable characters. Then, just to make things interesting, and score a few brownie points with the ignorant, they attacked the US, and it was some sort of achievement. In comes the US, and a new war starts. AQ didn't do the Afghan people any favors, any way you look at it. This is the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan. Check out how they feel about the US, the Taliban, and the Karzai government. Do they sound like they've been "freed"?

I very much abhorr violence. But such things come up where laws and justice are weak somewhere. So we do need to correct that there are no more cases like this, and those who have already undergone much need to be treated softly and with love.

I agree with you. they are all bunch of selfish individuals. They have no regard for their actions. I just hope these extremist will not be tolerated by all the nations around the globe and I hope that leaders of this group will all disappear in this world so we can all live in peace.

well with the word terror in it, they are really just there to terrorrize the people. but politically, freedom fighters or such will be called by the government terrorist just by fighting the government for independence or freedom. well there is a somewhat thin line on who will you call fighting for independence and who will you call terrorist.
