Yes, I think that mylot is a great place to improve on your English skills. The thing with learning English is, you might want to learn about American and British culture as well because it has been proven that the only way that you truly learn a language is if you immerse yourself in that culture. I am attempting to learn Spanish, and I know that the only way to really learn Spanish is by talking to people who speak that language, reading Spanish text, watching Spanish media, and learning about their different cultures. Watching English shows, reading English text, and talking to people in English really does help out a lot.

Mylot is the sweetest, the loveliest and the best place to improve English. I still prefer it to any places on the network. I would sacrifice all the time and effort for Mylot with hope of improve my knowledge, sharing my ideas, discuss other ideas, learning something new about life and culture. Upper from all, I will improve my English so well. May be I say all that for some reasons, but anyone who join Mylot has no reason at all ? ^^

If you want to practice to write in English, mylot is the best place to practice. Where you can meet and interact with other people in other countries. You can also read discussions about writing here. Maybe, this is not the best place in the whole internet world but this one is one of the best.

As an example there are people who think their level of proficiency is good enough, so never notice the finer points used by other posters. As a result their level remains mediocre. Are you prepared to be commented on, even by those whose mother tongue is not English? Keeping an open mind is important to improve oneself in any field. The second factor is the discussion area or Interest that you regularly visit. Choosing one frequented by those with good language skills will help you better compared to areas where the majority prefer simple English. The third factor is the type of written English used. Grammarians, especially from different countries, disagree on certain issues. So if you are given two different versions do keep an open mind. One graduate in my country dared to say that most of the other English teachers in my country are wrong. The education authority uses British English, and she was trained in the US. Try sticking with one line of thinking until you are comfortable with the differences. May you succeed in a short time.

I think that My Lot is a very good website in terms of improving your English communication. I think that it's important to read English books as well as write in the English language and this will definitely help you. I love to read and write and I notice that your communication skills definitely improve and your vocabulary begins to expand. I also write in a private journal and I find that this also helps me to express myself using the written word. I think this would be a good idea for you too although I don't know whether you have any interest in this. Yes, one of my reasons for being active here is im trying to improve my English aside from loving and having fun here, it's mainly my reason for participating more. We can still improve our English more if we stay here much longer and try to see how others are writing their discussions and comments in English. Let's learn from the native speakers here.

I do not think you will really improve your English by using mylot. Even though you have responded to many discussion, come out with new discussion, but if you do not know what is your mistake in writing English, whether you grammar is correct, or are your sentences are correct. Here no one will correct your English. What you need to do to improve you English is to read English newspaper. And always have a dictionary with you and refer to it whenever you found a new words. That will really improve you English. But to learn on other thing, that is true that you will learn something new but not English.

Yes. I think by joining Mylot I can improve my English. Not only I can receive many new information and knowledge, but also I am able to improve my vocabularies and writing skills! The best way to learn is to search somebody that has good grammar and writing in his or her post, add them as our friend, and follow every discussion or respond they make. definitely... I have improved my english language by join my self in mylot. Although my English is not fluent as you but i believed that mylot can let's someone improve their language and it's the essential place for them to mingle with people who come from abroad. Seriously, mylot has gave me wide opportunities for improving my English language and gain different view from others via discussion over here.
